I find owners are typically good about letting me know everything I’d need to know about their fur babies ahead of time as they want the best care for them! Some specifics I always appreciate are if the pets are reactive with other animals or certain movements from people, if they have any health issues to be aware of, and their normal routine!
A typical day
I love to take the time to play with the pets and give them all the attention they desire! Especially for those pets that may be having a hard time with their owners being gone. For walks I always let the dog set the pace and stop as much as they’d like along the way as the walk is for them not me! As for location that is up to what the owner is comfortable with :)

Hi all! My name is Britney and I’m a recent graduate from cal poly Ag Education Masters program. I’ve been raised with all different types of animals and breeds and I wouldn’t want to have it any other way! I’m new to this site but definitely not new to animal experience. I’ve personally owned dogs ranging from chihuahuas to a bull mastiff pit bull mix, and I frequently care for others dogs. I’m not just limited to dogs I’m also a cat mom to 3! I’m a huge lover of all animals and couldn’t ask for a better side hustle to help me get through college! If you have any more questions about my experience or anything that comes to mind please don’t hesitate to ask! I hope I’m able to ease your mind that your fur babies are in good hands :)

I am so grateful for Britney J!! I was in a bind after another house-sitter/dog-sitter quit while I was out of town with my hospitalized daughter. Britney accepted my request and showed up to my home within 2 hours. She took great care of my service dogs and my home. She was careful to keep my house secure and was great with communication. She remained consistent and reliable throughout my long absence. My dogs were so relaxed when I got home! They are usually pretty anxious when I'm gone, but not this time! Britney has the magic touch. I highly recommend her for pet sitting and house-sitting ... unless it's during a time that I need her, of course. :) Thank you again for the excellent care, Britney. You are amazing and I appreciate you so much.
Britney is the best dog sitter very kind, and my little dog just loves her. He is so comfortable & attentive when she comes over. He’s gets so happy & excited when he sees her. It gives us a lot of comfort knowing he is in such good care. I would highly recommend her anytime.
