Pet care experience
I’ve been taking care of pets (primarily cats) since I was 10. I just recently adopted my own cat, named Lenny. Friends, family, and neighbours have continuously relied on me to walk, check up on, board, feed, clean, play, and cuddle with their pets. My passion to care doesn’t just stop at animals. During the day, I work with people with special needs. In my free time, I enjoy getting outside - whether that’s a long walk around the neighbourhood or a brisk hike on the beautiful trails nearby. Based on my experience and my calm, caring and loving demeanor, I am confident that I will be able to provide optimal care for your pet(s). *I am a certified SPCA volunteer* *I am an aspiring photographer, and I love capturing high-quality pictures for pet owners*
Reviews
Britney is easy to communicate with , friendly and did a great job caring for my 6 months old kitten.
Britney was great; responsive, professional and down to earth. It only took one visit and our cat warmed up to her. She was patient and let our cat come to her. Our cat is elderly and Britney was comfortable with her medication and special care.
Britney was fantastic! Provided a thorough update on my dog and he just loved her.
Britney took such a good care of our cat at our place when we’ve been away for few days. She played, fed and sent us a plenty of pictures!

During drop-in visits I will ask for up-to-date instructions for the pet(s) (i.e., regarding food, water, litter, play time, likes/ dislikes, medication, allergies, emergency contact/ vet number, etc.). If I am unsure about something, I will always contact the owner directly for clarification. If something comes up during my watch (e.g., pet throws up) I will make sure to notify the owner immediately.
Information Britney D. would like to know about your pet
In order to provide optimal care to your pet, it would be helpful to learn about your pet’s temperament, how they interact with others, things to avoid, things they love, and allergies or medical conditions, etc.
A typical day
My philosophy is that every pet is unique and should be treated based on their individual needs. I consider myself to be skillful at matching my energy to the pet’s energy, and will make sure to care for the pet as though it’s my own.

Availability
*Currently working Monday to Friday from 8:30am to 3pm in West Vancouver. I am hoping to fill my afternoons/ early evenings with some dog walking* *I just adopted my own cat, so I will NOT be able to accept any boarding requests* For Dog Owners: In a perfect world, I would hang out with your pup(s) just after 3pm during the week - whether that’s taking them to a nearby dog park, going for a neighborhood walk or hike in the forest, or simply checking up on them, feeding them and giving them some extra love and attention. For Cat Owners: Nothing beats cuddling up with cat (or bonding with one from a distance, haha). I would love to help out wherever possible. For daytime care, I am happy to travel to your home.
