Information Brigitte K. would like to know about your pet
Some things I like to learn ahead of time: Would you like to schedule a meet-and-greet before the stay? What’s your preferred method of communication? Does your pup have any health issues that need to be tended to? For instance, dietary restrictions, medicine, or behavior triggers? Do you have a vet nearby that you trust? Is your dog spayed/neutered? Does your pup like to stick to a given schedule, like regular walks in the morning and evening? What does your pup do well around? What does your pup try to avoid? What’s the best way to spoil your pup?
A typical day
When your pup is with me, we’ll never be starved for adventure! There are so many great things to do that are in a paw’s reach. In my neighborhood, there are lots of different walking trails for us to go down, so we’ll always have something new to explore. My two dogs will always be alongside us (unless otherwise requested) to give us plenty of company and playtime as well. If we want to venture out a little bit, going down to the downtown waterfront is my first choice! It’s a great place to bring dogs, and there will definitely be some new friends there too! There’s a dog-friendly coffee shop en route as well, just in case we want to rest up and see who else is out and about. If your pup is on the more mellow side, we can definitely cuddle up together and catch up on some Netflix! Whatever makes your pup the most comfortable is my prerogative!

Caring for pets like they’re my own
Pet care experience
I know just how difficult it can be to be away and to find someone trustworthy to care for your beloved pets; especially those with medical and unique needs. That’s why I’m here: to make that time away as worry free and easy as possible! Friends aren’t always around to help out, and no one likes to stick their pups in a kennel. That’s what inspired me to become a sitter! I have a huge passion for making sure that pets are happy and healthy! There’s just nothing like bringing a smile to a pet’s face, so I can’t wait to do the same for your fur kids! I’ve been a lifelong dog owner, but have tons of experience taking care of them to boot! I currently live with my dog, a Chihuahua/Papillon mix, Rosie, and she is the light of my life! I grew up looking after pups and have experience with tons of different pets, from dogs and cats to fish and Bearded Dragons! In addition to taking care of may pets, I’ve also been a volunteer for the Suncoast Animal League, where I took in and fostered pups in need. I just loved this experience so much, and it definitely confirmed my wish to see every pet be happy and healthy at all times! I’ve also been a long-time pet sitter for friends and family, and now I’m very excited to extend my client base and help more pets & their families. When taking on a new client, I typically like to schedule a meet-and-greet in-person or video call. It’s a great way to make sure that we’re all a good fit for one another, which is so important to me. Likewise, it gives us the opportunity to chat face-to-face about your pet and your care expectations. No one knows your pet better than you do, so it’s always great to chat with owners in person about what makes their pet tick! Finally, me and Rosie love meeting new dogs and cats! I like to get down on their level to show them that I’m a welcome presence here to make friends, and I’m sure we’ll be best buddies in no time at all. I believe that the cornerstone of any good stay is communication. For me, good communication begins before your pet comes under my care, as I love to get as much information about you and your pet right off the bat! Getting a good idea about your care expectations is just as important as learning about what makes your pup tick. With that information in mind, I like to start thinking as early as possible about what a dream stay would be! During the stay, I like to send regular updates with accompanying pictures, so you can see just how well your pet is doing while you’re away. In addition to pictures, I like to send detailed information on anything you need to feel in the loop—from behaviors to meals to exercise times. Going the extra mile is just what I do best! *For house pet sitting, I am a currently working in Pennsylvania and able to travel with my dog, who is dog/cat tolerant & house trained, to you for 2-3 day weekend stays within 5 hours of Lancaster,PA.
Reviews

Brigitte was the absolute best! I unexpectedly had an out of town trip, and with short notice she was there to treat my fur baby, Chance, as if it was her own. She also kept me informed, made me feel as if my home was safe while away with her house stops, bathed Chance out of the kindness of her heart, and overall was an amazing caretaker for Chance. I will absolutely recommend Brigitte to anyone in need of a dog sitter! Thank you so much Brigitte!

Thank you Bridgett for your loving care of Brody. He was very happy at your home. And thanks for the walks too.
Brigitte has cared for my dog more times than I can count! Hogan is a challenge for everyone...except Brigitte. She has a gift and a special way of working with and caring for animals. She has a big heart, goes above and beyond for those she cares for (people and animals) and takes pride in all she does. I trust Hogan with Brig and know he will be loved, cared for and treated like family when he is in her care!
You will never meet a better human being. Just ask any dog around! Brigitte is always willing to help board, groom, save, or love any dog that comes her way. She is responsible, kind, trustworthy, and she always makes herself available when you need her. Our family is grateful that we have Brigitte to care for our furry, four-legged family member. ? g
