I recently retired. With a few exceptions, I am home most of every day and every night. I’m sure your small dog will love running around my fenced back yard. Dogs naturally love me and I love them.

Your pet must have flea protection, and all vaccinations. I do not smoke or drink. There are no pets in the home. I do have a grandson who I watch three days per week. Dogs must be good with children. For the protection of children and pets, I have a “no shoes policy.“ Please leave your shoes inside the front door upon entering. House is one floor with a chain link fence in the back yard. For safety reasons, I do not walk dogs, but I do exercise them in the backyard. They will always be accompanied by me.

Please let me know if your dog has any special needs or behaviors. I have a fenced yard and will give your dog exercise there. Please let me know if your pet can have cheese treats or they should stick to only the treats you bring.
A typical day
A typical day in my house is going out to potty in the fenced yard first thing in the morning and the last thing at night, accompanied by me. The dog can sleep in my bed if that’s what they like to do. I always have fresh water. Your dog will receive lots of love and I will update you with photos through Rover.

Lots-o-Love for One Small Dog Only!

Ever since I was a little girl I have loved dogs. We always had dogs in the house when I was growing up. On August 5, 2024, I lost my dog, Lana, after 19 years. She was a Jack Russell/Poodle mix. I would love to take care of doggies and treat them just like my Lana with lots of love, hugs and hanging out on the couch. I will take one dog up to 25 pounds for boarding. I would take more than one small dog if he or she is from the same household. Your dog will be allowed on the couch and bed. I have a fenced in back yard where your dog will always be accompanied by me. I will give lots of cuddles and love.

Brigid is amazing! I don’t have enough wonderful things to say about her. She loved our dog as much as we do! She was flexible with last minute medical needs for our pup and was in constant communication! We will book again ❤️
