Information Brigid K. would like to know about your pet

Please let me know how your dog reacts to strangers so I can modify my approach as needed; where they prefer to toilet (concrete/gravel/grass); and any medical conditions they have I need to be aware of. Please note I do not carry any veterinary equipment nor drugs with me.

A typical day

As part of work, I’m well used to distracting pets whilst away from their owners and keeping them entertained! This includes playtimes with lots of stimulating toys, cuddles, and plenty of nap time. And the odd tasty treat. If your older friend needs some gentler walks and assistance getting up and down, I’m more than familiar with helping them in this manner.

Pet care experience

Hello! I’m Brigid, a qualified veterinarian. By The nature of my job, I’m an all animals type of person, but have a particular soft spot for the kitties. Please note that whilst I am a fully qualified vet, I will not provide any veterinary work, perform any clinical exams, or give any veterinary advice. For me to do the aforementioned is neither legal nor ethical. What I can offer is peace of mind for you if you have a pet with a medical condition and needs specific treatment administering, eg diabetics requiring injections, or pets with dry eye. My day to day work is keeping animals happy and healthy, detecting potential medical problems, and administering medications. I do sadly have lots of experience performing CPR in emergency situations, and am full capable of performing first aid in order to get your pet to their registered vet. If I decide your pet ever needs to be seen by their registered veterinarian, I will contact you immediately.
