Dog lover on Martha’s Vineyard
I adore dogs and have been a consistent pet and home sitter for several families on Martha’s Vineyard over the last 8 years. I am tidy, responsible, and take care of pets as if they were my own. I love to take daily long walks (3-5 miles) and the companionship of a dog makes this personal routine so much more fun. It’s not possible for me to have a pup of my own in my current housing so getting to spend time with other dogs brings me so much joy.

I’m a great communicator and will always make sure I fully understand the needs of your home and pet before I agree to a job. I want us both to have a clear understanding and expectation of the level of care required so that everyone is comfortable. I am very respectful and mindful that every pet and home is unique, the details matter to me.
Ratings and reviews
Bridgette was attentive to my dogs' needs, showed up and communicated with me to keep me informed of my dogs wellbeing. Upon our return, both dogs were happy and healthy and clearly well cared for. We hope to book her again in the near future.
Bridgette was great! She got along wonderfully with Magic - I think they had a great time together - and she was very adaptable to our changing schedule. We are in Florida for the winter, but I hope she’ll be available to take care of Magic when we return to the Vineyard next spring. We liked her so much!
Bridgette is an excellent in home pet sitter. I was a bit nervous since it was my time leaving my golden doodle, Sandy, but she was so reassuring and sent me pictures daily. Bridgette made me feel so comfortable while I was away!
Bridgette is energetic, motivated, and has a strong focus for detail. She can be counted on to manage and be responsible for all things living, and will be trusted to communicate well throughout.
Bridgette did an amazing job taking care of our dog. She is dependable, thoughtful and very dedicated. She also loves walking so trust that your furry family member will get some exercise if they want it. I would highly recommend her if you need someone to care for your pet.
Bridgette was the first person to ever watch my dog and home for me, and she couldn’t have been a better pick! I got my dog Oliver during the pandemic, and for the first year of his life he was literally pinned to my side. So naturally, I was a bit anxious about leaving him with someone else! Bridgette was a dream. She immediately bonded with Oli and I had no doubts that he was getting the love and care he needed in my absence. She sent me daily update texts with photos, which was so helpful in making me feel comfortable leaving him! Upon my return, the house was left immaculate, and my Oli pup was happy and well cared for. To this day, his level of excitement upon seeing Bridgette is unparalleled. Dream Dogsitter, dream house sitter- I can’t recommend her enough!

Work freelance as a henna artist and with a catering company on island. I have a varied work schedule with most mornings open, happy to try to make your pet care needs fit into my day.
