I was raised caring for all types of animals, but I have a particular love for dogs and cats! Friends, family, and neighbors have trusted me with their pets for over 10 years of my life. My experience includes feeding, administering medications, walking, playtime, and overnight care. As an adult, I've cared for my own dogs for the past 5+ years and understand how important it is to leave your pet with someone dependable who will love and care them as much as you do!

Bridgett was a great communicator through the whole process, from meet and greet, to drop off, throughout the stay, and for pickup. My dog loved being there and I felt very comfortable the whole time. Will definitely book again.

Bridgett is AMAZING. One of my pups can be a bit of a handful but Bridgett is superwoman and came through with so much grace and knowledge. Bridgett showed up to drop in visits on time. I would book with her again in the future. She was kind enough to move some heavy packages in the garage for me that were delivered unexpectedly while we were gone.

Schedule
My schedule is very flexible this summer, allowing me to give pets plenty of attention, playtime, and supervision throughout the day. I'm available for boarding, drop-ins, and walks during both weekdays and weekends. I am happy to adapt to each pet's usual routine and needs!

Safety, trust & environment
My husband and I have a large fence yard and a home with plenty of space for pets to feel comfortable. We also have a friendly male collie/retriever mix who enjoys playing, but he can be easily separated if your dog prefers their own space. I'm comfortable using crates or separate rooms as needed, and I'm happy to arrange a meet-and-greet with my dog to help ensure everyone feels safe and relaxed. When caring for pets in a client's home, I do my best to keep their normal environment and routines consistent to reduce stress. I'm respectful of your home and able to follow detailed instructions. I'm also happy to send updates and photos so you can feel connected while away. Whether in my home or yours, my goal is to provide a clean and loving environment that feels as close to home as possible for every pet in my care.

A typical day
I am a big fan of adjusting physical or mental stimulation based on your pet's lifestyle. Whether it be fetch and long walks with the high-energy dogs, sitting on the patio and lots of petting with the more senior dogs, or giving the shy kitty some space with some available toys; I'm flexible and hope to give your family what they need!

- If applicable, I would like to know if they are protective over food and toys and if they destructive tendencies towards certain items (paper items, furniture, shoes) to keep everyone happy. Also, if they have sensitivities towards strangers or particular animals it may help with planning activities to do. Lastly, it would be nice to know if you are working on any behaviors with your pet so I can help with the learning curve (i.e. not getting on the couch, jumping on people, etc.).
