I’d love to know any important details about your pets beforehand, such as what they should or shouldn’t eat, especially if they’re on a specific diet. I enjoy making homemade dog treats using vegetables and meats that are beneficial to their health, so knowing their dietary needs would be helpful. It’s also important to know if they have any triggers that might cause them to become aggressive or anxious. Lastly, I’d like to know how often they need to be walked—if they require more frequent walks than usual, that’s totally fine!
A typical day
I honestly love walking, so I’ll definitely take the pets I watch around the lake, which has a beautiful trail that wraps all the way around it. I think it’s important to give them a change of scenery rather than just being indoors. I also love letting them take the lead on walks, allowing them to sniff around and explore, which helps tire them out both mentally and physically. Additionally, I like using interactive feeding bowls that slow down their eating and engage their minds, providing both stimulation and a healthier eating pace.
