Safety, trust & environment
I like to create an environment and set up a routine as familiar to pets as possible while their owners are away. I do my best to follow the same schedule for feedings and potty times, etc. If they are snugglers and love to be on the couch and sleep in your bed, I love to provide that for them as well! I do my best to just be a fill in for you and not change anything about their lifestyle. Each pet is different in what keeps them happy and I try to cater to that as much as I can.

Information Bridget P. would like to know about your pet
I will ask to set up a quick meet and greet in person before any bookings are confirmed to go over any information I will need, and to make sure your dogs are comfortable with me during their stay. This includes asking things as basic as meal, potty, and bedtimes, as well as any personality quirks I should know about. It’s important to know how much exercise they need a day, what keeps them happy, and what makes them nervous too.
A typical day
This totally depends on the individual pet. As I stated above, I do my best to cater and adhere to the schedule and activities your pets have already. I find it is much easier for me to adhere to there schedule than to change things up for my convenience.

Vet Tech for Solo Pet Care 🩷🐶🐱💙
Pet care experience
Not only did I grow up with a ton of pets- I graduated college with a degree in Veterinary Technology and worked for many years in animal medicine. I started pet sitting part time while still working as a licensed vet tech- but saw the immense need for professional sitters who offer 1:1 care and I left the hospital floors and have been doing this full time for about three years now. I understand first hand how hard it can be to find care for anxious and senior pets who can't necessarily be boarded in regular facilities or stay with other animals they don't know and I love being able to provide that independent care for them! I don't currently have any pets of my own so your pet will be free to relax and have a stress free time without the worry of unknown animal interactions.

Reviews

Our dog, Toby, LOVES when Bridget comes over to stay with him. They had a great long weekend and she made sure we had updates and pics along the way. She gave him watermelon snacks, walks around the neighborhood, and hung out with him in his favorite sun spot on our deck. We always trust her to care for our Toby. :)
Bridget provided absolutely outstanding care staying with my cat, Franklin, for three nights while I was on a work trip. He’s a shy little guy around people he doesn’t know, as well as being on many different medications for various health issues. He was extremely comfortable and happy with Bridget, as I could tell both before I left and from her photos and updates! It put my mind at ease to know he was in such capable, caring hands, and I cannot possibly recommend her highly enough.

Bridget is a wonderful dog sitter! We have a pup with anxiety/aggression issues and Bridget handled her perfectly while we were away. She is kind and caring and sent us photos and updates daily. Her communication is great! She was also able to give our dog her medication twice a day with no problem. Our house was perfectly spotless when we got home, it looked like no one had even been here! We are looking forward to her sitting for us again soon!

Bridget is an amazing dog sitter. She is extremely communicative, sending us lovely updates and photos. Our dog, Cassia, had a such a fun time with Bridget filled with walks and cuddles! We all can't wait for Bridget to come back again!
