Safety, trust & environment
My first priority is making sure your animal feels safe around me and comfortable. Once I gain their trust, whether it’s instant or over a few visits, I will be sure to learn their favorite ways to live and provide that for them. I will walk them on their favorite trails, give them their favorite scratches, snuggle if they need or just let them have their space and potty breaks. I listen to the animals needs and respond.

Information Bridget M. would like to know about your pet
I’d love to know what they like, what they’re used to and how they get along with young dogs. If they have a routine I’d love to keep up with it as I can to make them feel comfortable.
A typical day
We will go on walks, hikes if they like that, cuddle and have lots of fun! It all depends on what the animal needs — treats, food, medicine will on be on schedule.

Caring for dogs makes my heart full
Pet care experience
I've had dogs in my life since I was 6 years old. I love taking care of them, making their days full of fun and ensuring that they're healthy and loved. I walked my miniature daschund and chocolate lab side by side for years, so I got a lot of experience with a range of sizes and types of dogs. I’ve worked with the Blue Ridge Humane Society as well in my career. I cared for and interacted with puppies, teens and old doggies with all sorts of medical problems, temperaments and personalities. The attention and care they deserve will not be missing when I am around. I now have a bordercollie mix of my own, and he has taught me even more about what makes dogs happy. I have experience house sitting for neighborhood pets, experience giving medicine to dogs, taking care of elderly dogs and youngsters. I also volunteered at my local SPCA throughout college and got a lot of experience handling different levels of leash-trained dogs, and reactive dogs.

Reviews
Bridget was a wonderful walker. She was punctual, accommodating and showed Stella a lot of love. I highly recommend her!

Bridget was an absolute delight to meet & trust with our precious Macy. We could not have asked for a better fit for our family. A+ pet sitter 5 stars

Bridget and her pup Rudy were incredible! She sent pics and updates every day I was gone and was very easy to plan and communicate with. My pup came home tired as ever! Will definitely be leaving Juni with Bridget and Rudy again! :)

Ruby came back so sleepy! Exactly what I want from an hour walk. Bridget asks good questions and gives you updates about how your dog is doing. She is very aware of her surroundings and making sure Ruby is able to have her best walk. Ruby is afraid of cars and kids- I heard Bridget praise and redirect Ruby when encountering a scary thing. She really cares about my dog and it is noticeable. 10/10- highly recommend!
