Safety, trust & environment

I have been a nanny for five years and understand the mutual trust that must exist when you welcome a stranger into your home to take care of your (fur)babies. I will do my very best to treat your pet the same way, if not better, than the way you would if you could be home with them!

Information Bridget H. would like to know about your pet

I will keep your dogs safety at the forefront of my care for them and meet them wherever they are at in terms of physical condition and emotional well-being. Whether that means taking slower, shorter walks for an older dog or playing fetch for longer periods of time for the more high-energy dog! Let me know how I can make the transition of care for your pet seamless!

A typical day

Long walks around their neighborhood and hopefully field trips to a dog park nearby where we can play with their favorite toys! A good brushing if the dog is comfortable with that as well!

A cat owner, who also loves dogs!

Pet care experience

I grew up with a furry Alaskan husky who loved to play in the winter snow! I’ve also become a rotational dog- sitter for family friends! I’m energetic and love to go for walks on my own, so I’m excited to add an equally energetic dog to the mix. I can be lazy too in the case of a couch potato puppy who just wants to roll around in the grass and be fed treats.

Bridget took good care of our pup and left our home clean for when we got home, and even ran the dishwasher and cleaned the bedding. We’re very appreciative!

Bridget did a great job cleaning up after house sitting, starting a load of laundry and running the dishwasher. We really appreciate it!

Bridget has been walking our dog, Finley for the past 3 months twice a week. Recently she provided house sitting and care for Finn while we were out of down for 5 days. While we were gone, Finley got into a tussle with a raccoon and Bridget calmly and quickly got Finley inside notified us, discussed a care plan and eventually brought Finn to the vet. Her ability to handle this situation really impressed us, and we're so grateful for her care! Bridget is always communicative, friendly, kind, trustworthy and great with our dog. We feel so lucky to have found someone we trust to care for our pup. We'd highly recommend Bridget for anyone who is looking for dog walking or house-sitting!
