Pet care is my primary daily responsibility. As a veterinary technician and farm based pet care provider, my days are structured around the dogs in our care. I am on-site throughout the day for feeding, play sessions, enrichment, medication administration, and health monitoring. Dogs follow a consistent routine with multiple outdoor breaks, supervised group play, rest periods, and individualized care as needed. Overnight care is provided in safe, secure indoor spaces or cabins, with regular check-ins and established emergency protocols. Because this is a dedicated pet care operation not a side gig I am able to maintain predictable routines, close observation, and flexibility for senior dogs or pets with special needs.

Safety, trust & environment

Safety and transparency come first. We provide cage-free boarding and daycare in a calm, low-volume setting on our family farm. Dogs are carefully grouped by size, temperament, and energy level, with structured play, rest periods, and indoor downtime. we are on site daily and follow consistent routines for feeding, medications, outdoor breaks, and health monitoring. As a veterinary technician, I’m experienced in recognizing changes in behaviour or health and responding appropriately. Dogs are not under direct, continuous supervision at all times (such as overnight or during rest periods), but they are cared for in secure spaces with regular check-ins and established safety protocols. This environment is best suited for social dogs, senior dogs, and owners who value experienced, realistic care over a high volume kennel.

A typical day

Dogs follow a calm, structured routine designed for safety, enrichment, and comfort in a cage-free environment. Morning (6:30–9:00 AM) Dogs start the day with outdoor bathroom breaks and light movement in small, compatible groups. Breakfast is served based on each dog’s routine, and medications are administered as needed. After eating, dogs enjoy indoor rest time to settle and digest. Late Morning (9:00–11:30 AM) Supervised outdoor play and exploration in fenced areas. Groups are matched by size, energy, and temperament. Dogs who prefer a quieter pace have the option of indoor rest or lower-energy activities. Midday (11:30 AM–2:00 PM) Quiet time and naps indoors. This helps prevent over stimulation and supports senior dogs or those needing downtime. One-on-one check-ins are done during this period. Afternoon (2:00–4:30 PM) A second play session or enrichment rotation, including scent games, relaxed social time, or gentle play depending on the group. Dogs are monitored closely and rotated as needed. Evening (4:30–7:00 PM) Dinner is served according to owner instructions, with evening medications given if required. Dogs then enjoy calm indoor time and final outdoor breaks. Nighttime & Overnight Dogs settle into safe, secure indoor spaces or cabins for the night. We are cage-free; dogs are not crated unless required for safety or medical reasons. While dogs are not under direct, continuous supervision overnight, regular checks are performed and emergency protocols are in place.

Pet care experience

Hi! I’m Bridget, a veterinary technician with over 25 years of experience caring for dogs of all ages, including seniors, anxious pups, and dogs needing medication or special care. I have based my career around pet care. Our intentions are to make sure your pets stay is enjoyable and you are able to enjoy your time away knowing they are well cared for.

Boo's first overnight stay since I adopted him was a great success. He played all day and came home exhausted. The property was in a great country setting. Will be back!

Another great visit for Ozzie. Our little pup loves his visits to the farm! He never wants to leave and always comes back tired and happy - even after a full week. Bridget is also fantastic with communication! Thanks again for taking such good care of Ozzie!

Guinness had the best time at Bridget & Glen’s house. He loved playing with all the pups and came home a happy and tired boy! The best part was Bridget let me know each day how he was making out. I would definitely send Guinness back!
