Hello there! I'm Bridget, and I bring a wealth of experience and a genuine love for animals. Growing up on a lively farm, surrounded by a multitude of furry friends, instilled in me a deep understanding of their needs and behaviors. Additionally, my family and I often open our doors to foster animals in partnership with the Cornwall OSPCA, providing them with a safe and loving environment. With 16 years of dedicated service in the Canadian Forces, I've honed skills in discipline and responsibility, which I bring to every interaction with your cherished pet. Rest assured, your furry companion will be in capable and caring hands under my watch

Great communication, it's very easy to see that Bridget absolutely loves animals. Will definitely be having Bridget take care of my pets again!
Bridget was absolutely wonderful! She took such good care of my cat. She kept me updated with pictures and videos, followed all of his (probably over the top) meal instructions perfectly, and spent lots of quality time playing with him and brushing him. My cat is very shy but he absolutely adores Bridget and even began to greet her at the door! I would absolutely recommend booking with her.
Bridget took such good care of our 70lbs beloved dog, Louie! She was very communicative, sending pictures, videos and updates on our fur baby. She left the house very clean after the 2 overnights spent here. She took Louie on the longest walk... he now misses the long distance outings! Such exercise was excellent for him, Im so glad Bridget gave him this opportunity. We will definitely have Bridget again to take care of Louie. He misses her!

Bridget is a genuine animal lover, caring for two dogs, and a cat. In addition to her dedication to her own pets' well-being, she also fosters animals in need. Her commitment to fostering and caring for animals is truly admirable. Animals hold a special place in her heart, and she goes above and beyond to ensure their happiness and health. Her dedication to animal welfare, both through fostering and her own pets, is evident and inspiring.
Bridget is a friend of my for the last 5 years and she is the kindest human being. She has been involved with animal rescue campaigns and there is honestly not a better person than Bridget to take care of all kinds of pets. Bridget is also a big advocate against breed specific legislation which makes her the best non judgemental care taker of all breed of dogs. She is very trained with all breeds and I personally highly recommend her from personal experience.

Schedule
I currently operate my own home-based business, and my commitment to community volunteering remains steadfast. In the event I'm needed in Ottawa, you'll find me there from 8 am to 3 pm, but I always make it back home in time to attend to my beloved pups. When I'm house sitting, my supportive spouse happily dedicates their time to our furry companions. This ensures that pet care seamlessly integrates into my daily and weekly routine.

A typical day
In mid-morning, the dogs and I like to walk the Embrun trail and go to the private Country Canines Play Park in Metcalfe. Our Cat Ripley likes to play on her wall-mounted jungle gym.
