We are a waterfront pet retreat!
I have always had animals, specifically large dogs (Bouviers and Mastiff’s). I have a love of all things from dragon flys to horses and everything in between. We live in a country setting on the water with 2 acres. A partially cleared grass yard plus about an acre of treed bush. We are set back far from the road. We have a perfect quiet neighborhood for beautiful walks without traffic. My husband and I are both home full time with our spayed female Bouvier (born October 2022). She loves to play and swim and snuggle and is always welcoming to a new friend.

So amazing! My dog isn't good with other dogs so they went above and beyond to make sure he had a comfortable space to himself and he came home super happy. This was my first rover experience so I was nervous. Turned out to be awesome

I had my dog stay and their place for 5 nights and he had an amazing time. I received so many photo and video updates. They treated him like he was part of the family and came back just as happy as when I left him. They were so kind and very flexible when needed. They kept him very active and really kept an eye on him. Their dog Teeter was so high energy and such a good companion for my pup. I would recommend them to anyone!
Brianne was amazing! She has an incredible way of making animals feel safe and loved. Moose absolutely loves her! As a senior dog it can be difficult to leave him with just anyone. Brianne took care of all his needs, gave him so much love and attention and made him feel right at home which in turn left me feeling so confident in my decision to leave him with her. Their dog Teeter, is a sweet, friendly, gentle giant. Even though there is a large age gap between Teeter and Moose she was so good with him! Moose had the best time and I love knowing someone else can care and love him the way I do, when I can’t be there.

Schedule
My husband works remotely from our home office and I am home all day to look after the animals. When we have pets booked to be part of our family that is the sole priority and I make a point to keep my schedule wide open to be dedicated to the animals exclusively.

Safety, trust & environment
We have an open yard on the water so if your dog likes to swim they will be in their glory! Good recall is important if you want me to allow them to be out off leash, otherwise if you are more comfortable I can keep them on a lead and provide as many walks as needed for their specific energy requirement. We do not feed our dog people food, and she generally grazes, but I will follow whatever feeding schedule you request. We do not have children, it is a pretty quiet environment. In the summer we do love to take the dogs for boat rides and sunset cruises!! I have a medium and large crate if you would like to have them crated at all and sleeping can be whatever the dog prefers. We have had lots sleep right with us, and others who prefer the living room or to be crated- so we are easy for whatever makes the dog more comfortable. I prefer that whenever possible we arrange a meeting for you to bring you pet here prior to boarding dates for a meet and greet so that you can see where we live and we can ensure the dogs are comfortable together and you can put your mind at ease!

A typical day
We love country walks here, fetch, swimming, boat rides, and of course quality snuggles if the play calms down long enough! Often we get out for 2,3,4 walks a day!
