Safety, trust & environment

It’s an honor to be trusted to take care of someone’s furry family, and my first priority is making sure the owners and animals trust me and are confident in my ability to keep them safe and happy. I work with each client to meet their individual pet care needs.

Information Brianna W. would like to know about your pet

Let me know what your pets’ typical day looks like, so I can ensure as much consistency as possible in their care. Animals (including humans) are creatures of habit so it’s imperative to stick to their schedules to reduce their (and your) stress. It is important that I know any medications the animals may take, as well as their normal behavior so I can make sure they are safe, happy and healthy.

A typical day

I love working with dogs to stimulate them physically and mentally. We will play with any toys they have, go on any walks, we can even go for a drive and get a pup cup and head to a local park. I also love incorporating training into play time; it helps get them excited and reinforces important behaviors like focus as well as specific commands.

Pet care experience

I’ve been taking care of pets practically my whole life. I grew up with two cats and a dog - all from a local rescue that I volunteered at since I was 8 years old. I worked on socialization with dogs and cats and have grown up training basic behaviors and tricks with dogs (including agility with my childhood dog). Friends, family, and neighbors have relied on my to walk, feed, and even train their furry family members. I also have volunteered throughout the years at a vet clinic taking care of animals including giving meds, daily care and exercise. I graduated from Purdue with my B.S. in Animal Science where I took all of the companion animal classes offered and even helped to teach one. I am also experienced in taking care of a variety of animals including fish, horses, reptiles, birds and more!

Brianna was extremely responsive and went above and beyond what she was required to do. She has a wonderful attitude, very responsible and will definitely be asking her to assist us down the road. Without a doubt I would recommend Brianna to others.

Brianna is excellent when it comes to understanding dogs and their different behaviors. She spent years training and working with them in 4-h and has helped multiple people train their dogs. I am one of them. She helped me train my stubborn corgi and gave me tips on dealing with stubborn dogs. I have also seen her deal with finnichy dogs and is really dog at understanding their body language. Brianna is great with dogs!

Brianna is a very responsible dog watcher. She watched my golden doodle for a few days while I was away on vacation. Not only was the house cleaner than when I left it, but she even kept working with my puppy to teach her to lay down!
