I work full-time at Petco as an Animal Care Supervisor! I do work 5 days a week, full 8-9 hour days. I can get off as late as 9pm. I would of course be with your baby all night and any time I'm not at work!

When caring for pets in a client’s home, I follow their instructions closely to keep the pet’s routine as normal as possible. This includes feeding, walks, medications, litter or yard clean-up, and of course, quality time! I also respect the client’s home, ensuring it's left clean and secure after each visit.

A typical day
II love keeping pets active, happy, and mentally stimulated! Depending on each pet’s personality and energy level, I’ll tailor fun activities just for them. For dogs, that might include walks, fetch, or tug-of-war. For more energetic pups, I’m happy to include longer walks or active play sessions to burn off energy. For cats, I enjoy interactive play with toys like feather wands or laser pointers, along with quiet cuddle time or brushing if they enjoy that. I always take the time to get to know each pet’s favorite activities, whether it's a playful game, a relaxing belly rub, or just hanging out together.

Pet care experience
I worked at a pet rescue for 2 1/2 years, as well as taking care of my two adorable kitties, bearded dragon, hamster, tarantula, and three fish tanks. At the rescue I took care of cats, dogs, horses, and a mule doing basic care like feeding and cleaning up after them as well as giving lots of love and attention. I also have experience giving medications and baths to both cats and dogs.
