I groom out of my home during the day, which makes it super convenient and easy to offer daycare and pet sitting! I also make house calls upon request for vet tech services, pet sitting, and dog walking, and occasionally under special circumstances, I’ll makes make an exception for a house call for grooming.

I live with my 3 cats and 2 dogs. For the dogs: One is a 12yr male neutered Australian shepherd type mutt (50#), but do not let the age fool you, he is full of energy! And the other is a 5yr male neutered mini-goldendoodle (20#). They love other animals! The cats are great with dogs as well. I’ve been pet-sitting in my home for 15+ years, so everyone is used to making new friends. I can use a kennel if that’s what your pet is used to. They’re allowed on the furniture and bed, and can free roam if that’s what they prefer. During the day, they have full freedom to be wherever they want to be, but most choose to hang in the salon with me while I’m grooming :)

I find it helpful to know about any triggers your dog may have, for example, if they don’t like bigger dogs, they’re food aggressive, they hate to be kenneled, or if they can’t be trusted alone without being kenneled, if they dig, flight risks, can jump a fence, etc.
A typical day
I have a large quarter acre 6’ privacy fenced back yard, and two parks with a pond and canal to walk around, all located in my neighborhood. My dogs love playing with other dogs, and we can all go for a group walk as often as they desire. There is a dog park right up the road as well if they have extra energy to burn.

Hello! I have been pet sitting and dog walking most of my life. I am a Licensed Veterinary Technician with 11 years of hands on veterinary experience with dogs, cats, large animal, and exotics of all sizes and temperaments. I’ve worked in veterinary general practice, shelter medicine, animal services/rescue, and two years as an emergency triage intake nurse on overnights at BluePearl. I have recently hung up my stethoscope and chosen a happier side of the pet industry, grooming and pet sitting! I do not have human children, the animals are my passion. I specialize in animal safe handling and behavior and I’m trained in veterinary first aid and CPR. I can medicate orally or via injections. I’ve had many pets throughout my life and know how special our furry family members are to us. I’ll take care of your pet as if they were my own. I look forward to working with you!

We had an amazing experience leaving our schnauzer, Zeus, with Brianna. She was absolutely wonderful and made us feel completely at ease while we were away. She kept us updated, made sure Zeus was eating well, and regularly sent us pictures; either directly to us or by posting them on Facebook, which we loved. It was clear from the start that Zeus was in great hands. She is incredibly kind and caring, and we truly appreciated the personal attention she gave him. We will definitely be back and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a trustworthy and loving dog sitter in North Port!
