Running Buddy for Your Active Breed

Grew up with farm dogs and absolutely adored them. Extensive experience with senior dogs & comfortable with dogs that have aggression toward other dogs (See full details under 'Information Brianna R. would like to know about your pet' on my profile). For boarding, dogs with barking issues can’t be accommodated, as it wouldn’t be fair to neighbors.

Brianna is great! Very communicative and was patient with our dog who can be nervous at times to go outside when loud.

Boarding Details: Your dog must be house trained, no potty pads. I unfortunately cannot accept dogs who have issues with barking as it's unfair to my neighbors. I am rather active and pups are always welcome on the excursions. Weekday First-Time Boarders (Not Crated): Drop-off must be early morning (06:00–06:30 am) or after 06:00 pm. This allows time for them to settle in while I am home and ensures they’re not anxious (or eating furniture) while adjusting. Senior Dog Care: Building has an elevator. My rough collie had diabetes for years, I am comfortable administering medications including shots. For your reference, I do not have any veterinary training (I only have licenses to practice medicine on humans). Most days I work in office and do not have a doggie cam so if you need eyes on them more consistently than every few hours, I am not a good fit. Aggression Notes: I did grow up with large farm dogs, some of which were not known for being the nicest to other dogs. I am comfortable walking and boarding for dogs that are reactive, as long as they have never been aggressive towards humans. I do require that they have either a harness or choke collar. Additionally, they will have to be physically able to go up and down two flights of stairs as I would not bring them into the elevator in my building.
Each sitter joining Rover needs to pass a background check. And by booking on Rover, you can get photo & message updates, 24/7 support, and reimbursement for eligible vet care.
