Highlights
Pet care experience
Your pet’s emotional support human.
I’ve been caring for dogs for as long as I can remember, having grown up with family dogs, having dogs of my own, and helping care for pets belonging to friends and neighbors. Over the years I’ve looked after dogs of all sizes and personalities, from small energetic pups to large, gentle giants and everything in between. I’m comfortable with walks, feeding, playtime, administering medication, and providing lots and lots of attention and affection. At home, I have both a dog and cat, so my nights are usually spent being a pillow for a chubby cat or a pushy shiba (sometimes both at the same time), which means I’m never off schedule! I’m a college senior taking asynchronous classes and working part-time in security roles, which allows for a very open schedule. Whether your pup loves long walks, playing fetch, exploring the neighborhood, or simply curling on the couch for some company, I'm happy to tailor my care to their individual needs and routine. I’ve always loved being around animals, and caring for pets lets me share that love while making sure they feel safe, comfortable, and cared for like family.
Qualifications
Safety, trust & environment
When caring for pets in your home, my goal is to keep their routine as consistent as possible so they feel secure while you’re gone. I’ll follow any instructions you provide on feeding, walks, medications, house rules, and favorite routines. Safety is always my top priority, and I pay close attention to details that matter. I am educated on and have handled pet emergencies swiftly; I know who to call, and don't waste any time when there's a concern. If you have a barrel-chested dog, it’ll get a small, controlled amount of water after coming in from the heat so it doesn’t catch bloat. If you have an escape artist kitty, it’ll always be in my arms or in another room when the door is open. I’m also mindful of things like hot pavement, crowded areas, and anything else that could make a pet uncomfortable or unsafe. I understand that trusting someone with both your pet and your home is a big deal. I’ll treat your space with the same respect I’d give my own, keep you updated with photos and messages, and make sure your pet is happy, safe, and well cared for while you’re away. I also own a high-quality digital camera and love sending free, high-quality photos to update you on how they’re doing, silly phone pics included!
Ratings and reviews
Shortly after I moved here, I had to leave to spend a week with family across the country due to an emergency. Bri took care of my (16 years old) soul dog during this time, who suffered from dog aggression, hip dysplasia, and blindness. It's always nerve wrecking leaving my baby alone, and this was near the end of Chanel's life as well, so comfort was an absolute priority. Bri not only took care of Chanel like her own, but sent constant photos and updates and tended to Chanel's every special need. Chanel takes a while to warm up to people, but in every other photo, she was curled up happily next to Bri, and she even went on short excursions with Bri when weather permitted. It was definitely more of a vacation for Chanel than for me, as it felt like every day, Bri was spending as much time as possible just making Chanel feel loved and tended to. I lost Chanel not long ago, and Bri was there to give condolences and spend time talking through memories with me. She is an unforgettable, passionate, loving dogsitter. When a pet is in her home, she tends to that pet like they're a guest at her hotel - completely attentive and loving. Thank you Bri!!!

Schedule
As mentioned above, pet care fits really well into my routine because I’m taking asynchronous classes and have a limited part time schedule! Since I can do coursework from anywhere, I'm happy to work from your home while caring for your dog. That means they can have company throughout the day instead of being left alone for long stretches. I naturally build walks, outdoor time, and movement into my day, so taking a dog out for fresh air, exercise is something | genuinely enjoy!. Whether your dog is high energy and loves adventure or prefers a slower pace and lots of cuddles, I'm happy to adapt to the routine and make sure they feel comfortable safe and loved while you're away!
