When caring for pets in a client’s home, I follow their normal routine as closely as possible to reduce stress and keep things familiar. I make sure pets are always supervised during visits, doors and gates are securely handled, and I pay close attention to feeding instructions, medication schedules, and any specific care guidelines provided by the owner. I also respect each home by keeping it clean, organized, and exactly as I found it. For dogs, I ensure safe leash handling during walks, avoid unsafe interactions with unfamiliar animals, and always stay attentive to their behavior and needs. For cats, I create a calm environment by respecting their space and letting them come to me on their terms, while still providing affection, play, and care when they’re comfortable. My goal is to build trust with both pets and owners by being reliable, detail-oriented, and attentive so you can feel confident your pet is safe, loved, and well cared for while you’re away.
