I have several years of hands on experience working in an animal shelter, where I cared for dogs and cats of all sizes, breeds, and temperaments. I am comfortable with high energy dogs, shy pets, seniors, and animals with special routines. I grew up with pets and currently have a 1 year old Australian Shepherd and an almost 10 year old Papillon, so I understand both structured exercise needs and gentle senior care. My shelter background has helped me develop strong skills in reading body language, handling safely, and making pets feel comfortable quickly.
