Safety, trust & environment

Dogs in my home are treated like my own. I have two dogs that love other dogs a lot. They help me entertain our guest. They are also good at playing with each other and giving space if needed though. I am happy to feed 2-3 times a day (I personally feed twice), and follow any routine from home. However, my only general rule is dogs must be crate trained (as indicted) for when I leave the house. For drop in care, your home is treated with the utmost respect. I leave the house just as I found it, with your pet well cared for and content. With both, you will get full updates and pictures, and never have to wonder about the safety or care of your beloved family member.

Information Brianna B. would like to know about your pet

I just like to know the dogs routine, typical behaviors, any medical concerns and abilities. I think sticking to a familiar routine makes being away from home just that much easier. It’s also helpful to know typical behaviors such as slow eater, urinates frequently, etc., so that I know what is normal and what is a concern to bring up. On the health side, your pets health is my number one concern. Telling me honestly any issues they may have will assist me in caring for them and watching for any issues that I should report. Lastly, I also think knowing what the dog knows and doesn’t know is helpful. For example, should I expect the dog to be potty trained, know to sit and stay, or are those things not perfected yet. These things can point to the dogs overall sense of calm and such. For instance, an accident in a potty trained dog indicates nervousness. Just things I like to know. I love and accept dogs of any ability, but I like to know what to expect. I have no breed preference. I’ve owned Yorkies to Rottweilers, and house-sat all kind too. I love them all!

A typical day

When I go on walks, I love to go on walks to parks and hiking trails and these kinds of busy places. I think it’s so engaging and fun for the dog! I also love to practice obedience, with the owners permission, near these places. Knowing that your dog with listen to a sit or stay despite children playing or a tennis court, for example, is so encouraging! Then after, I love to reward the dog with lots of love and play time, including ball throwing and such.

Pet care experience

Hi! My name is Brianna, and I can’t wait to help you and your pet with all your needs. I am an experienced animal owner with lots of time flexibility. I have owned dogs and cats simultaneously for around 28 years, and been responsible for their care. I did house sit for plenty for animals, though mostly dogs, through high school and college. I also have around 20 years of experience with pocket pets, including guinea pigs, mice, hamsters, gerbils, and so on. Though not completely relevant, I have 16 years experience equine experience too, so you can tell I love creatures of all kinds! My most recent endeavor is bearded dragon and other reptile husbandry for 6+ years. I do work, but I have flexibility with my schedule, especially with advanced bookings. I am a college graduate. I have a passion for working with animals, and it shows when I’m with them. I’ve done my own training with my horses and gone on to show them, but more importantly overcome our own obstacles. This then encouraged me to train my own dogs from puppy all the way to public assistance. I do have caged animals in my home, but they are kept in my bedroom with the door shut. I own two dogs myself, both very socialized with excellent manners. I welcome any questions or concerns, and I’m happy to talk before booking. I look forward to hearing from you!

Brianna was amazing!! My cat was not being a good cat and Brianna stuck through it, modified how she interacted with him, and kept me involved the entire time. She is professional and positive in interactions.
