A typical day
When watching pets, I make sure they’re engaged, happy, and comfortable. For dogs, I love going on walks, playing fetch, or doing short training games with treats. Cats enjoy interactive play with feather toys, window watching, or quiet cuddle time. Small pets like rabbits or guinea pigs get safe, supervised playtime with tunnels or obstacle courses, while birds or reptiles enjoy gentle handling and enrichment activities suited to their species. I adjust activities based on the pet’s personality, energy level, and needs to ensure they feel loved, entertained, and secure while their owners are away. Their well-being always comes first!
