I am a lifelong dog owner with extensive experience caring for dogs of all breeds, sizes, ages, and personalities. My family and I would love the opportunity to welcome your pup into our home and make them feel like part of the family while you’re away! Our home consists of myself, my husband, our 16-year-old daughter, and our two very friendly resident dogs — Macie, our Newfoundland, and Emma, our German Shepherd. Please don't let their size fool you! Both are wonderful with dogs large and small. Macie especially LOVES playing with little pups and truly lives up to the “gentle giant” reputation. You can see lots of our resident and guest dogs enjoying time together in our photos! I have owned dogs my entire life, including a Beagle, Lab, German Shepherd, and Lab mix, all of whom I cared for through their senior years. Before COVID, I also volunteered as a dog walker and helper at Buddy Dog Humane Society. That experience gave me even more hands-on experience with puppies, seniors, shy dogs, high-energy pups, and dogs with more challenging personalities. I am also certified in Pet First Aid and CPR and have extensive medication administration experience. Our dogs are an extremely important part of our family, and we treat our guest dogs the same way. I am a licensed, insured kennel that provides overnight boarding in my home, where dogs are able to enjoy a comfortable, family-style environment rather than being left alone in a cage or large facility. We have: 🐾 A large, securely fenced yard 🐾 Double-gated entry for added safety 🐾 Plenty of supervised indoor and outdoor playtime, weather permitting 🐾 Dogs are welcome on the furniture 🐾 Lots of attention, affection, and cuddles 🐾 A relaxed, home-like environment At night, our resident dogs sleep in our bedroom, and our guest dogs are welcome to sleep with us too! If your dog prefers their own space, a crate, or another sleeping arrangement, we are happy to accommodate their normal routine. For crate preferred guests, I do have several large in-home crates that are sanitized between uses. These are available if needed, and I only utilize crating if instructed to do so by the pet owner. Our goal is simple: we want your dog to feel like they are having their own little vacation while you're away! Whether they're staying for one night or several weeks, they'll receive plenty of love, attention, playtime, and companionship. I also offer cat drop-in visits, as well as boarding or drop-in care for rabbits, birds, and exotic pets that can safely remain in their cages/enclosures. I have personally owned reptiles, birds, ferrets, and rabbits, so I’m comfortable with a variety of pets and their unique care needs. And yes... I've even had the experience of giving medication to a ferret. Let's just say that's an experience you don't forget! I offer pickup/drop-off and drop-in visits within approximately a 15-minute radius. My husband is also a Rover sitter and provides walking and drop-in services. Since we dont keave guests unsupervised, he may assist with your pet's care, and you will meet both of us at the meet and greet. I do my best to keep my Rover calendar updated, but please feel free to message me before finalizing your travel plans to confirm availability and get your dates secured. A 1 night trial stay can be especially helpful for making sure everyone — including your pup — feels comfortable before a longer vacation. Meet & greets are held outdoors. For personal security and liability reasons, I do not offer tours of the inside of our home during meet & greets. Required Documentation: For everyone's safety and in accordance with Massachusetts requirements, I require: • A current rabies certificate • A current dog license • My emergency information form • My client agreement • An ID tag on your dog's collar (unless your dog is microchipped) Required documentation must be provided at least 7 days before drop-off to hold reservations. This is our second time booking with Briana and she is the best!! We were away for 8 nights and felt very comfortable and safe with our dog staying with her and didnt have to worry. She sent us pictures everyday and our dog looked like she was having a blast!
Briana is great! She did a wonderful job keeping us comfortable by sending us pictures of Bruno three times a day. Bruno really enjoyed his stay, and we’re so happy to know he was in safe and caring hands while we were away. We truly appreciate the wonderful care she and her family gave him!

Schedule
While caring for pets is something I truly love, I also recognize that it is a professional service and a responsibility that I take very seriously. Because I structure my work and daily schedule around the pets in my care, all drop-off and pickup times must be arranged in advance. I am happy to be flexible whenever possible, but last-minute or unplanned arrivals and departures can be difficult to accommodate. I generally prefer pickup by 8:00 PM. If you need a later pickup, an additional overnight stay may be required, with pickup scheduled for the following morning. My goal is to make the arrival and departure process smooth and stress-free for both you and your pup, so please discuss your expected drop-off and pickup times with me when booking.

Safety, trust & environment
Your pet's safety is always my top priority. We have a large, securely fenced yard with a double-gated entry for added security, and all outdoor time is supervised. Because our yard provides plenty of room to run and play, we do not take our boarding guests off-property for walks. When providing care in your home, I will always follow your instructions and respect your pet's established routine, including feeding, medications, potty schedules, and any specific care requests you provide. I also provide my own client agreement and emergency information forms, which must be completed and signed before services are accepted. These forms help ensure that I have the information needed to properly care for your pet and respond appropriately in the event of an emergency. I also require updated rabies and town license certificates. For the safety of my family, resident dogs, and other guest pets, I cannot accept dogs with aggressive behavior for in-home boarding. This includes, but is not limited to: • Food aggression • Resource guarding • Aggression toward other animals • Aggression toward people • A history of biting or attempting to bite • Significant or unpredictable aggressive behavior Please be completely honest about your dog's behavior and history during the booking process. Full disclosure is extremely important when multiple dogs and people are sharing the same home. If aggressive behavior is discovered that was not previously disclosed, I reserve the right to require **immediate pickup** of the pet and discontinue future services. I also reserve the right to decline or discontinue services at any time when I determine that a pet's behavior, needs, or circumstances are not an appropriate or safe fit for our home, in accordance with my client agreement. These policies aren't meant to exclude dogs unfairly — they are in place to ensure that every dog in our care, our own pets, my family, and every client can enjoy a safe and comfortable environment. A typical day
Walks are typically not included with boarding, as our large, securely fenced yard provides plenty of space for running, exploring, and playing. Our guests enjoy lots of supervised outdoor time throughout the day, weather permitting, so they have plenty of opportunities to burn off energy and enjoy the fresh air without needing to leave the property. I do accept dogs from multiple households at the same time, in addition to our resident dogs. Guest dogs may socialize, play, and interact with one another in our home and yard, with supervision provided at all times. I carefully consider each dog's temperament and comfort level when allowing dogs to interact.

- Of course, I'll want to know the important things like your dog's feeding routine, schedule, house rules, medications, and any special care instructions. But one of the things I find most helpful to know is their favorite activity! While it's always fun for dogs to experience new things, having an old favorite in our back pocket can be incredibly helpful if your pup is missing home, feeling a little nervous, or just needs something familiar to help them settle in. Whether it's playing fetch, chasing a ball, cuddling on the couch, getting belly rubs, or simply hanging out beside us, I want to know what makes your dog happy. And of course, knowing their favorite treat is never a bad thing either! Please remember that full disclosure about your dog's behavior is required before booking. No dog is perfect, and I completely understand that every dog has their quirks! Knowing about any behavioral concerns, fears, triggers, resource guarding, separation issues, or other challenges ahead of time allows me to plan appropriately and provide the safest and most comfortable experience possible. Massachusetts Requirements: In accordance with Massachusetts requirements, All boarding dogs must have a valid rabies certificate and current dog license on file. As a locensed home boarding kennel I cannot accept a dog for boarding unless this documentation is provided at least 7 days prior to drop-off. I also require completion of both my Emergency Information Form and Client Services Agreement before the stay.
