Pet care experience
Your pets home away from home!
I’ve been an avid animal lover all my life and a pet mom to an energetic 3 year old rescue dog, 2 cats, 2 dwarf goats, 2 horses, and chickens. I hold a Bachelor’s of Veterinary Science with an equine studies concentration and was a MA licensed horseback riding instructor for 10+ years. I have a passion for understanding animal behavior and use that knowledge to ensure your pet is feeling safe and comfortable in my care.

Briana is reliable and my pup-Moochie- has had several great dog daycare days with her and the pack there!
Moochie had a great time at Briana's!!
We are very happy with our experience with Briana. Penny was very happy with her stay with her. We appreciated Briana’s contact with us with pictures and comments of how Penny was doing. We will definitely book with her again!
Brianna was a great communicator and kept us up-to-date on how Duncan was doing. She has a large house and yard for a dog to explore. We would recommend a use Brianna again.
Cliff stayed with Briana for nearly two weeks while we were out of the country, and we are so happy we found her! Briana is everything you could want in a dogsitter: wonderful with dogs, a great communicator (quick responses re: logistics + lots of great pictures of Cliff while we were away), super conscientious, and flexible. Her dog Trooper is a great host, too. Briana was the best dogsitter we’ve ever had — highly recommend!

Schedule
I work from home full-time while caring for my own animals, which allows for plenty of potty breaks and play time throughout the day. Your pet won’t be alone for more than a few hours at a time in the off chance I have to run out to do an errand. But, when your pet stays in my home, their care and spending time with them becomes my top priority.

Home characteristics
Safety, trust & environment
I’m incredibly flexible when it comes to the care and special needs of your pet. Whether your pet is crate trained and likes to spend time alone or wants to snuggle up on the couch and play with my dog, my home can adapt to your pets needs. I have a large 5 acre yard on a quiet residential road with small pond, fish pond, farm animals, a pool and nearby trails; offering a variety of activities, smells and enrichment opportunities depending on you and your dogs level of comfort. I have two cats in the home and one does not enjoy being chased by dogs. So, I do ask when possible to be up front about your dog’s experience with cats. I can still accept dogs for short term visits if they chase but long-term stays of a week or more are reviewed on a case by case basis.

A typical day
During the day, your best friend will get to spend time sniffing, running, playing fetch, playing with my dog or other dogs in our care. They’ll get the opportunity to meet farm animals, look at the goldfish in a pond (my dogs favorites), and take a big nap on the couch after.
