Over the years, I’ve owned and cared for a wide range of pets, from dogs and cats to rabbits, gerbils, ferrets, turtles, geckos, horses and more. I also have professional experience working as an animal handler and caretaker at a nature preserve, where I was in charge of caring for both farm and indoor animals.

Briana was a great house/pet sitter. I have three Maine Coon cats and one dog. They are all very loving and need lots of attention, which Briana was great at giving them. She also walked our dog, fed everyone according to the schedule and left the house immaculate. She also noticed a potty issue with my older cat and ended up taking her to the vet to get checked out. I was very appreciative that while I was far away on vacation, she was looking after my cats & dog, and even visited the vet. I can’t recommend Briana enough!

Schedule
I work remotely as an editor and educator, so my availability is largely flexible for pet sitting. Because of this, I’m able to offer boarding, house sitting, and drop-in services, and am usually able to accommodate last-minute requests.

I currently live with my three cats in a four-floor house that has ample room to accommodate additional animals. I have a fenced-in backyard, a pet safety gate, and when needed, my cats have their own room to be separated in.

A typical day
Depending on the temperament of your pet, I can adjust our activities accordingly to make sure they are receiving adequate attention and stimulation. From cuddling with lap babies to waving a wand or playing fetch with a higher energy cat or dog, I’m prepared to meet your pet’s needs!

- *PLEASE NOTE: at this time, I am not accepting requests for drop-ins that are for three or fewer visits; I also do not accept house-sitting requests for three nights or fewer. Whenever you reach out with a request for a booking, I like to offer an initial meet and greet to make sure you have the opportunity to tell me anything I need to know about how to take care of your pet. It’s important to establish an early basis of trust, and I also use this time to make sure the animal can get a sense for me too!
