I work remotely as an editor and educator, so my availability is largely flexible for pet sitting. Because of this, I’m able to offer boarding, house sitting, and drop-in services, and am usually able to accommodate last-minute requests.

Whenever you reach out with a request for a booking, I like to offer an initial meet and greet to make sure you have the opportunity to tell me anything I need to know about how to take care of your pet. It’s important to establish an early basis of trust, and I also use this time to make sure the animal can get a sense for me too!

Depending on the temperament of your pet, I can adjust our activities accordingly to make sure they are receiving adequate attention and stimulation. From cuddling with lap babies to waving a wand or playing fetch with a higher energy cat or dog, I’m prepared to meet your pet’s needs!

Over the years, I’ve owned and cared for a wide range of pets, from dogs and cats to rabbits, gerbils, ferrets, turtles, geckos, horses and more. I also have professional experience working as an animal handler and caretaker at a nature preserve, where I was in charge of caring for both farm and indoor animals.

Given that my dog is blind and relatively energetic, finding someone reliable I can trust to care for her is extremely important to me. During our booking, Briana was extremely kind, professional, and responsive. It’s clear she is an all-around animal lover who understands the importance of catering to an animal’s specific needs. 10/10 would recommend!

Briana was excellent, she is attentive to details and cares for our dogs as if they are her own. They loved spending time with her. She took extra time out of her day to come meet and greet before hand, which was extra helpful for us. She is also very flexible and excellent at communication!
Briana was incredibly professional during her stay with my two cats, one being a diabetic senior cat. Before we left, she came over to meet the kitties and even do a dose of Kiki's insulin herself to ensure she would be doing it properly while we were gone. I was admittedly nervous to leave Kiki alone for the first time since being diagnosed, but Briana cared for her very well and even downloaded the Libre Link app so she could track her glucose levels along with me. She sent tons of photo/video updates of snuggles and playtime and the cats seemed very happy with her the whole time. When we got home, the trash was taken out and the cat dishes were washed/dried without us even asking her to do it. Briana showed up on time for a strict insulin schedule, communicated clearly and quickly, and was overall an amazing sitter that I would recommend to anyone!
