Certified Family Dog Mediator®
My story, For almost 20 years I worked in the HR & Payroll environment for Paychex Inc., & Hyland Software. As much as I enjoyed those positions & opportunities, the time had come for change. So with my wife's support & encouragement, I pursued my lifelong stress reduction vocation....working with & improving the physical & mental welfare of our dogs through the L.E.G.S. Family Dog Mediation® 🐾 Adding educational insights, interventions & daily practices to dog lovers is my Passion. I go BEYOND dog training & provide mind-blowing practical advice on WHY the behaviors are happening and HOW to proceed.... It's a game changer in your understanding & relationship with your dog🐾 🎓 Studies/Education /Coursework Certified Family Dog Mediator® - L.E.G.S.® Applied Ethology Family Dog Mediation® Professional Course.- *ABA Applied Behavior Analysis *Integrated Canine Science - Ultimate-Proximate Distinction in Animal Behavioral Sciences 🎓 ASPCA LAB COURSES-CANINES IN SHELTERS *Shelter Better Behavior Enrichment techniques *Increasing Adoptability/ Decreasing Kennel Stress *Dog Language / Body Communication *Shelter Animal Mental Health /*Solving Sep Anxiety *Canines & Children/ Fear of People *Understanding Aggression /*Aging Dogs-Behavior *Puppy Development Coaching Caretakers 🎓 Dunbar Dog Behavior Training Academy *CCPDT / IAABC / NADOI CEU’s *Note - At this time Rover does not offer training services, but I'm happy to discuss options during our meet & greet. In conclusion, we know that every pet is different and no one knows your pup like you do. Thus by listening to you & understanding your pups needs, we are able to give what is needed to the level that you expect. This is my passion & my profession. I look forward to meeting you & caring for your pup.
Ratings and reviews
Brian was great! My dog Oliver can be anxious, but Brian was great with him. I would definitely use Brian again.

Outstanding guy! My dog truly enjoyed her walk with Brian. He is kind, affectionate and has a deep understanding of dogs’ behavior. Gave me lots of helpful tips for loose leash walking and how to make my dog not to jump up when she sees new people.

Brian was right on schedule this morning! He is very knowledgeable when it came to the issues I am having with my pups. He gave me lots of tips and tricks to work on with them. He will be my go to guy in the future!

Brian is super nice and our Maya loves him!! Great communication and sent so many great pictures.

Brian is an awesome dog sitter! Second time having him care for our dog and will do so again in the future.

Highly recommend Brian! We really appreciated his patience and knowledge of dogs while working with our large dog, Yuki. Yuki can be very nervous around new people and Brian was able to get her out for her daily walks and provided us with plenty of picture and updates. It gave us peace of mind that our anxious pup was in good hands.

Schedule
Dog Walking - 🐾 Loose Leash Training is fundamental to what I do everyday. Every walk provided is a continuous training & reinforcing of loose leash walking. The dog walk is a key to overall mental & physical health & happiness, which can prevent so many behavioral challenges. As long as the pup or adult is in reasonable health, & with pet parent permission, we believe the walk should be enjoyable & at the same time, work. My Drop-In skill set includes oral medicine administration, special needs care including formerly abandoned, abused & traumatized canines, puppy care, senior dog care, high energy breeds, & requested obedience training that the pet parent has already established. At the pet parent's home, I try to mirror the normal routine that is already in place.
