Pet care and Rover, in general, seamlessly align with my weekly routine. As a remote worker with a flexible schedule, I’m an ideal candidate for households with busy schedules.

Safety, trust & environment
The health and wellbeing of your furry friend is my number one priority. That means always staying on leash, unless in a dog park with the owners approval, staying hydrated on long walks, and feeling loved each and every time I see your pet. For cats, my main goal is to help them feel safe, clean and engaged. After having a cat of my own, I know how to get their gears turning from foraging boxes to more traditional training and everything in between. Cleaning the litter box is always my main goal for every cat check-in to help your feline friend stay clean and satisfied.
Information Brian L. would like to know about your pet
It is most important for me to know the temperament of your pet. Often I get a good idea on my preliminary meet-and-greet, but it is always good to know beforehand. It is also really important to relay their triggers. I would hate to put the pet in a situation with triggers without knowing and risk harm to your pet.
A typical day
The typical day would be filled with outdoor walks and mental stimulation. There will be plenty of stops to sniff and smell the roses because at the end of the day, this is their time out of the house to decompress. For longer stays, you can count on plenty of movies on the couch with lots of pets and treats!

Pet care experience
My name is Brian, and I am an experienced, caring, and trustworthy sitter with a passion for the outdoors. My partner and I adopted a flame-point Siamese who is as talkative as he is food-motivated. Although it did come in handy when it came time to teach him to sit in order to get his meals… In college, I fostered a senior black Golden Retriever named Logan. He was adopted by my close roommate, but I remained one of two primary caregivers for 2 years. Since Logan, I have had the privilege of assisting in the care of two other dogs and 2 cats. My love for the outdoors is only rivaled by my love for animals, and I look forward to the opportunity of pampering your furry friend as much, as I have for many, over the years.
Reviews

Follow instructions perfectly navigating all the headaches to get into our building. Great communication, nice guy, and our dog likes him too!

Best walker ever!

Brian was terrific! As a Rover’er myself, I only want the best for our pup and Brian delivered great care. Great at communicating as well. Everything you want
Brian was super easy to work with and have as Joey's sitter. His attentiveness to the directions and the details of things was obvious - we highly recommend him and will hire him again.
