Brian can care for
Availability
I work from home, with a very flexible schedule. I used to be a lawyer (Stanford '13) but now enjoy life without billable hours and more balance! Therefore, I'm available for dog walking/sitting or cat care any time of the day or evening.

Safety, trust & environment
Safety and wellness are my top priority for my pet and for any pet under my care. Before caring for your pet, I'll make sure to understand any needs your pet may have, e.g., harnesses and leash preference, what makes your pet feel comfortable and safe, which environments to avoid, and any additional preferences you may have. My experience includes caring for pets with disabilities and seniors. I'm always available for a "Meet & Greet" prior to booking, either in-person or via Rover's video app to go into as much detail as needed to best care for your pet.
Information Brian H. would like to know about your pet
Please let me know any special needs or preferences your pet may have. Whether that's places or things to avoid or the perfect treat for your pet. I want to give your pet an experience as close as possible to if you were there with us. No matter how quirky your request may be, I'd love to hear it. Please fill out the "Vet Information" on your profile in case of any emergencies.
A typical day
My highest priority is to replicate the activities you would do with your pet. If your pet loves fetch, then let's fetch; if s/he loves laying in the sun or a windowsill let's do that; if your little one prefers to visit a dog park, then we're there. So let me know your pet's favorite activities and places to go, and I'll be sure to give s/he an experience as close as possible to what they're used to.

Pet care experience
YOUR EXPERIENCED LOCAL PET SITTER/WALKER (NEW CLIENTS WELCOME)! Hello Pet Parents. I'm an experienced dog-sitter/walker that recently relocated to Seattle. I'm now building my new group of amazing cats and dogs to care for here on Rover in Seattle. I'm taking new clients, both one-off requests and regulars. I’ve had dogs all my life, large and small. And no less than 2 cats at all times growing up! My many dogs were personally trained by me, including my current pup, Vallie. She was adopted as a very nervous and scared 2-year old dog due to early abuse, but I’ve successfully made her endlessly comfy and happy in the world through patient and positive interactions (two critical things to pet care). I use that same patience and positivity with all my clients (pets and parents!). I’m comfortable and experienced around all dog sizes and dispositions and any number of cats. Happy to take your pup to the park or just around the neighborhood, or care for and clean up for your kitty. I look forward to caring for your pet as intently as my own.
Reviews

Brian is truly one of my favorite sitters on the app and we are delighted whenever he’s available for bookings. His detailed notes show not only that he’s a highly responsive communicator but that he really cares about my pups’ wellbeing and he thinks a few steps ahead for them always. When there is inclement weather he is sure to give them extra playtime indoors and wipes down any messes from the rain or potty accidents. Will always book with him when given a chance and am grateful to come home to a well cared for home and doggies.

My dogs and I had an amazing experience with Brian this past weekend. I have 3 large dogs and was initially nervous about someone being able to handle them all easily, but my worries were for nothing. Brian was great! He wrote up the best reports after every visit, including photos and witty narrative of what all my babies were up to. I appreciated how much detail he provided and was so pleased with the quality of care he showed. He clearly has a passion for what he does and it shows. Will absolutely book with him again in the future!

Brian watched over our boys for 6 days and he was the BEST! He provided detailed notes and tons of pics 🥰 Regardless of the weather Brian came and tended to them and made sure they were taken care of. We will definitely be requesting him again if possible ! Great job Brian 💙💙

Brian is amazing! He had been very helpful while I’ve been gone on my work trip. He is tentative and goes above and beyond while tending to our boys. Thank so much for making this really seamless and worry free. ❤️❤️❤️
