Dogs like me because I know how to pet them the way they like and how to play and have fun. But what make me a particularly good sitter is how I show consideration and empathy while maintaining boundaries and encouraging good behavior. I can handle young, poorly trained, and poorly disciplined animals. While I will use an authoritative voice or even get physical when necessary, I'm always careful to do no harm physically or emotionally. Love and protection are primary, discipline secondary.

I have a medium sized fenced yard. In our three bedroom home there also resides my wife, our cat, and two male roommates who keep to themselves.

Brian and his wife provided excellent care for our cocker spaniel. They actively played with him, and even did a bit of snuggling. Our dog was relaxed and happy when we arrived; no anxiety whatsoever. We will look forward to using Brian again next time we are in town.

Schedule
I am chronically ill with digestive issues and so have no regular job. I do small handyman jobs occasionally, but mostly I just care for the home and my wife.
