We’re a responsible, pet-loving married couple with a lifetime of experience caring for dogs. Our family’s long history with Labrador Retrievers and Havanese taught us the importance of attentive, loving care — something we bring to every dog we host. We both have professional careers working remotely (IT and Accounting) — and we bring that same sense of reliability, organization, and care into how we look after your pet. We lead an active, home-based lifestyle that allows us to give each dog our full time and attention. Whether it’s a calm day at home, playtime in the yard, or exercise for high-energy pups — from beach walks to dog park visits or hikes in the Hampstead game lands — we make sure every guest feels happy and fulfilled. After moving from Charlotte to Surf City in 2023, we took a short break and are now excited to be pet sitting again — offering a personal, one-at-a-time experience where every dog gets our full attention and care. We’ve lived in the Topsail area for over three years and are familiar faces around town. Located just a mile from Topsail Island, we’re a trusted choice for both local residents and vacationers looking for reliable, loving care in a safe, comfortable setting.

Brian and Denise are the best! I can’t say enough great things about the care they provided Oliver. I received lots of pictures, videos and updates while we were away. They have a beautiful, clean house with all the comforts a dog would need. They have toys and leashes and lots of love for furry friends. We decided to stay another night and they were happy to oblige. I am thrilled to have such fabulous care takers so close. Dollie had a great first stay at the home of Brian and Denise. Our meet and greet prior to Dollie's stay was so nice. Clearly a pet family, I knew this would be a good fit for my girl. She had never been around cats and now has two new furry friends. I am very grateful for the good care provided. We will definitely book again!
I can’t say enough about the care and love that Brian and Denise demonstrated toward our Gertie! From long walks to snuggles on the couch they treated her like she was their own! I am so grateful and thankful for their kindness when we needed to be out of town.

Brian and Denise were great with Kato, our Toy Poodle. Kato was quite nervous when first meeting them. But soon enough, they won over Kato's heart. For both daycare and a weekend boarding, Brian and Denise sent several photos and a few short videos. Thank you for making Kato's weekend feel like home.

We both work remotely and will care for your pet as if they were our own. We are very accommodating to your schedule, early and late is just fine. Expect many pictures!
