Pet care experience
Your dogs new best friend!
I’ve had or cared for dogs and cats most of my life. Most recently I’ve had two cats which passed away at 20 years of age. With an empty house, I’ve taken to walking, sitting, and boarding for friends as well as volunteering with Pets in Need and the Humane Society.

Brian (along with his wife) took care of our Chihuahua mix and Terrier mix (both rescue dogs) over a five-day period. I would absolutely leave my pups with him again! Right from drop-off my dogs appeared to like his calm, friendly demeanor. Brian also sent consistent updates with pictures and regularly took my dogs to a nearby park. Our Chihuahua also has special needs (eye drops) which he was able to handle without any issues. He also gave them the vitamins and dental treats we left as well. Our pups seemed content and happy on return! I am very appreciative of the thoughtful care he provided while we were away.

Our dog was calm and happy when we picked her up. We hope Brian is available again the next time we need someone to take care of Shasta!

Easy communication, reliable. My dogs seemed to like the host family and be comfortable in their household.

Zuko had a great time with Brian. He got multiple walks a day and a lot of play time at home. I got multiple updates with pictures throughout the day. It was reassuring to see that Zuko was well loved and was enjoying his time.

Brian took great care of our puppy while we were gone. He took her on multiple walks a day and played nonstop fetch (which is her favorite activity). We received multiple updates with photos each day so we knew our baby was in great hands.

Baboo did great with Brian for the day. Loved all the timely updates Brian kept sending us. Will definetely book with him again.

Schedule
Work full time but half of the day is usually at home. Spouse is not working and likely to spend some quality time with your pet as well. Early morning walks, daytime potty breaks and additional evening walks for the energetic ones are likely.

Home characteristics
Safety, trust & environment
I have a small fenced patio but I’m more likely to take your dog to the large grassy common space directly in front of my home or the dog friendly park adjacent to my home.
A typical day
Well go for walks and play inside the house. Nap time is good too and there is plenty of sofa and bed space for that!
