I am currently working as a freelance writer so as long as I have the space to set up my laptop during down time, my schedule is completely free when I’m on the clock for your pet! I do have a dog of my own but most likely during housesits I would have my partner take care of him.

When I’m at a client’s home, I treat it like I might when staying in any guests’ home, even if it’s just for a drop-in. Of course, with reoccurring clients and with longer stays, I’ll feel more at-home and comfortable but I still try to keep that tidiness level and make sure your coming home is just as relaxing an experience as whatever vacation or outing you’ve left me in charge of your pets for!
Information Bri C. would like to know about your pet
I absolutely must always have a meet and greet for the pet in question. It’s my number one rule to get a feel for the situation and to ask any questions I may have. After all, knowing the feeding schedule a dog is used to is only the half of it, right? Learning what a dog or cat considers normal is so important to me, because I know, having an anxious dog myself, that when their normal routine is disturbed, they get all sorts of out of whack. When I’m away, I want to know that my pets are doing just as good as if I was home with them, and that’s what I strive to do for my clients’ pets.
A typical day
One of my favorite parts of petsitting is finding out what said pets really enjoy playing with and seeing them go absolutely bonkers for that special toy or activity. It brings a sense of normalcy back to the pet that may be missing you whilst providing endless entertainment for them (and also me!). I want each and every housesit or drop-in visit to feel so normal and good for the pets I am watching.

Pet care experience
Hello! I’m Bri and I’m the best petsitter you’ll ever have. I don’t think I can name a time in my life that I haven’t had a dog around. Understanding, training, and loving dogs is second nature to me. I’ve taken care of very young puppies that haven’t opened their eyes yet, to the biggest puppies in their golden years. I’ve loved big dogs, small dogs, and every dog in between! ((Important update for dog walking)) - since I can no longer take bigger dogs on walks alone due to some previous injuries, my partner would be joining me to help with your pet’s walk! Everything would still go through me but if it includes a walk, I’d have you meet them too! They would be an extension of me and I take my reputation as a sitter very seriously, so rest assured you’re in good hands. For housesitting and drop-ins, I can do it all just fine.

Reviews
Brittni is a definite animal lover! She takes the best of care of her dog Fred; as well as other extended family pets! She is extremely responsible, goes the extra mile. I definitely trust her caring for mine all of the time, and she does an excellent job. I would highly recommend her in caring for, walking, and entertaining your pet!
Brittni has much experience in caring for dogs, having grown up with dogs herself, as well as helping friends, myself included, take care of their dogs. She is attentive to the dogs needs. She makes sure food is readily available and easy for the dog to consume without choking or other problems, and maintains water carefully. She plays with a variety of toys as well as just petting and giving lots of love and attention. If the dog shows signs of being ill or uncomfortable, she is ready with ways to help at home, or calling the vet for advise. I would highly recommend Brittni to care for your fur babies while you're away.
