Professional Minneapolis Dog Walker
Hello! I'm a professional dog walker in Brooklyn Park available for house sitting. Unfortunately, what was once a part-time side gig has turned into a career opportunity, so I have had to decrease my availability here on Rover. I tried to continue being as available as I was, but that has proven unfeasible. I am currently only looking for house sitting opportunities that are within a 10 minute drive from the Riverdale shopping center in Coon Rapids (close enough to care for your fur babies during a lunch break). I am willing to accept new customers further away ONLY IF itnis okay to be gone up to 9 hours at a time (for example, if the dog has access to the outdoors and just needs me to feed them and play and keep them company while I'm not at work). I have over 10 years of professional dog care experience, 5 years here on Rover. I also have experience caring for cats, birds, fish reptiles and spiders. I love getting out into neighborhoods or into parks with my dog clients, and also love throwing balls around a backyard. When weather makes a walk unfeasible, I will still provide some outside time with your dog, and will still give you and your dog the entire time purchased, even if part of the time will need to be inside.

I would come to your home to care for your fur babie(s). I feel that animals are most comfortable in their own home environment, and can walk, feed, medicate (if needed), play with, crate or bring to the park as desired

I absolutely do NOT recommend Brett as an in home dog sitter. We had him come for a weekend when we had to be away for a wedding. We had done a couple meet and greets prior that seemed to go well. We went over all the details about the dogs, the house, etc. One of my dogs cannot go more than about 8 or 9 hours without eating or she gets an upset stomach. He said “no problem “. I will just say by our outside ring camera, we could see that he was barely there. I found a couple of spots where my dog had thrown up because she hadn’t eaten 😢. My other big issue is that we showed him specifically what guest room he would be sleeping in but he slept in my bed!! To me this is a complete invasion of privacy and just plain creepy. I came home exhausted from my son’s wedding to balled up bedding. When I asked him about it he just laughed it off. I am still disgusted a day later wondering what other personal things he touched. Also, instead of leaving our house key on the counter and locking the door behind him when he left for the last time, he took the key with him! I don’t know where all these great reviews come from but this guy is a creep!

We trust Brett completely . He scrappy looks forward to his weekday walks while we are working. We’ve known Brett for years and as long as he’s available he is my top choice!
Brett was awesome! We felt SO at peace while he was home with our animals while we traveled. He sent pics, timely updates. Communication was 10/10. We look forward to using his services in the future! Thank you Brett!

Brett is a great walker! He can handle dogs big and small and has a lot of flexibility in his availability.

Schedule
I do have a full-time job near Riverdale in Coon Rapids. I can accommodate most schedules near that area. Further from Riverdale will require me to be out of the home for up to 9 hours at a time. When not at my job, I would be at your home.
