Pet care experience
Cat Specialist, Pet/Farm Wizard
I've spent my entire life with cats and dogs and parts of my life have been spent on various farms. I also have experience in wildlife rehabilitation. My favorite critters are cats 😺 PLEASE NOTE: I am currently not taking requests for dogs. UNLESS you are a past client! (Please reach out to me if I've cared for your dog before! 😊)

Safety, trust & environment
My pets and those I care for are always on my mind. Risks such as open doors and windows, passers-by, open food containers or cleaning products - I always have eyes on all of those things. I know what is and isn't out of reach, etc. My own cat is a serial treat-bag stealer and plant eater 😅 so I am on HIGH alert to keep pets safe.
Ratings and reviews
Bret did an great job taking care of our dog, cat, and house! She was reliable and communicative. We never had to wonder what was going, and felt completely confident with Bret in charge! We can't wait to be repeat customers!

Brett was wonderful watching our girl Layla for 5 days at our house. We appreciated her daily updates that kept us in the loop and we loved the cute pics she sent. The house was left just as we left it when we came back.

Bret always takes the best care of our boy!

Really appreciated Bret's communication and responsiveness. She took great care of the house as well as my cat, who was very happy in her care. I'd definitely hire her again!

Bret is the best! She always takes such good care of our high maintenance boy. Highly recommend!

Bret has been amazing to stay and keep an eye on our cat who has some health issues. We always get great updates, all of our instructions are followed perfectly, and we come home to a happy cat who has been well cared for. Thanks Bret!!

Schedule
I work a full time job, with one work-from-home day (usually Fridays). My schedule is luckily flexible, but this means my ideal furry pals are able to be left alone for most of the workday. I have my own girl, Fauvette, and she is the love of my life. I grew up with so many animals, but since getting her I have learned even more about pet care. From her often hilarious relationship with her little brother, Hankerchief, I've learned so much about cat behavior and social dynamics (they're the classic sibling pair.)
