Highlights
Pet care experience
Dog lover from puppies to seniors.
Dogs have been part of my family since the day I was born. For 45 years I've raised beagles, labs, retrievers, bull terriers, a boxer mix and many generations of dachshunds. I also spent years on a farm raising chickens and keeping bees, so patient, humane, attentive animal care is second nature to me. I'm comfortable giving medications, working with puppies on training basics, and giving senior pets and anxious or shy animals the calm, gentle attention they need. I regularly care for and house sit for friends' dogs, so daily walks, feeding routines, and overnight care are already part of my life.
Qualifications
Ratings and reviews
I have used Brent to take care of our dog Ricky. Brent did a great job and my wife, and I couldn't have been more satisfied with the care Brent gave our dog. Brent made the process very easy and stress free. He gave us updates about what he had done for our dog while we were gone on vacation. We didn't worry once about our dog Ricky, while we were out of town. Our dog has food allergies and needs his food prepared in a certain manner and Brent was on top of it and had no issues. I would 100% recommend Brent and will use his services again.
We have known Brent for many, many years and have trusted him to watch our fur baby several times. Whenever we go out of town and he is available to watch our pup, we know that he'll be taken care of! From walks in the morning, to afternoon treats and late night doggy-door closing, Brent has helped so many times. We highly recommend Brent for all your dog sitting needs!

Schedule
I work from home full-time with a very flexible schedule, so your pet gets real companionship throughout the day, not just a quick visit. I'm available for boarding, house sitting, drop-ins, and walks on weekdays and weekends, and I can accommodate early mornings, midday walks, and evening routines.

Home characteristics
Safety, trust & environment
I have a fully fenced yard with plenty of room to play and sniff, and no pets of my own at home right now so your dog gets my undivided attention with no resident-pet introductions to worry about. I keep guests on their normal feeding and medication schedules, supervise all yard time, and always use a leash on walks. In your home, I'll follow your routines exactly and send plenty of photo updates so you can relax while you're away.
A typical day
Long walks are my favorite — I love giving dogs plenty of time to sniff and explore, not just a quick loop around the block. At home we'll have lots of play time in my fully fenced yard: fetch, chase, tug, whatever your pup loves most. Since I work from home, activity is spread throughout the day rather than crammed into one visit. For cats, I'm happy to do wand-toy play sessions, laser chases, or just quality lap time and brushing for the cuddlers. I'll match my energy to your pet including zoomies for the players, gentle slow strolls for the seniors.

- Before your pet's stay, I like to know their feeding schedule and any dietary restrictions, medications and how they take them, and their walk and potty routine. It also helps to know how they do with other dogs and with strangers, any fears or triggers (thunderstorms, doorbells, bikes), and whether they have escape-artist tendencies or leash quirks like pulling or reactivity. For cats, litter box habits and whether they're indoor only. And of course their favorite toys, treats, and the little quirks that make them who they are. The more I know, the more your pet's stay feels like home.
