I currently foster dogs through The Bond Between (formerly Secondhand Hounds) and have several years of experience caring for dogs of all breeds, sizes, and backgrounds. In my own household, I have two 7-year-old pugs who are playful yet easygoing, creating a welcoming environment. I provide attentive, personalized care — from walks and playtime to cuddles — to make every stay comfortable and stress-free.

Luna had another great stay with Brenna! She is very easy going and we feel very comfortable leaving our dog with her!
It was the 1st time I used Brenna. I'm always nervous to leave my Dachshund, Emma, who has some special needs with anyone. Brenna was calm and reassuring. She sent daily updates & photos and was very accommodating when my plane was delayed several times. Emma came home happy and I would definitely use Brenna again.
Brenna was great! Very communicative, received pictures every day and we knew our dog was taken care of. She has a great set up with a fenced backyard and can come home over the lunch hour to give the dogs a break. We hope to use her again when we have a need!

Schedule
I live just two blocks from work and come home every day during the work week for lunch to let the dogs out and give them attention. Dogs in my care are never left alone for more than 3.5–4 hours at a time, ensuring they’re safe, comfortable, and well-cared for throughout the day.

I have a fully fenced yard where dogs can safely play and get exercise, along with two resident pugs for companionship during the day. My home is all on one level, so there are no stairs to navigate, making it accessible for dogs with mobility needs.

A typical day
I love to play fetch in the backyard with my pups, giving dogs plenty of supervised time to play and burn off energy. We also enjoy walks around the neighborhood or exploring our local park, letting dogs sniff, explore, and get some exercise. Depending on each dog’s personality and needs, I provide plenty of cuddles, interactive play, and mental stimulation. Every day is tailored to keep them happy, comfortable, and engaged.
