Safety, trust & environment

Since I'm taking time off from traditional employment and can count on family to care for my own pets while I'm away, I can stay in your home full-time. That means timely feedings, daily litterbox cleaning (or frequent potty breaks for dogs), and I can even update you on how your pet is doing twice a day (or more) if you like. :)

Information Brenna K. would like to know about your pet

Please let me know if your pet has any special needs or behaviors so that I can plan accordingly. Also, for now, I prefer small and medium dogs for walking, though I can walk larger dogs if they are mellow.

A typical day

How I engage with someone else's pet really depends on their personality and their needs! Some need a lot of play and attention, while others want to be left alone (for my last catsitting job, I was told not to try to play with her because she would get scared and hide!). Walks, fetch, cuddling, and even brain teasers are all things I can do for both cats and dogs... And even if your pet wants to be left alone, I will probably still at least talk to them. :)

Pet care experience

Cats were one of my first loves as a child, and I can't even remember a time when my family didn't have at least one cat. Neighbors, friends, and family have always counted on me to help them tame or trap ferals, socialize kittens, and take care of their cats when they're away from home. My family has also had indoor dogs for over 20 years, and I've done some dogsitting over the years as well.

Brenna did a great job with our barky greeter. Marvel, our lab, was shortly calmed by Brenna's soothing demeanor. We're glad to have someone nearby we can rely on to walk our talkative furball.

Brenna is outstanding, communicative, and really bonded with our clingy doods.
