I’m here to help, however possible.
I grew up with dogs or cats in my home my entire childhood (0-18). I was born into a home filled with 14 animals. Mostly cats and dogs. For most of my childhood and adolescence I had a Rottweiler and a cat. I would walk/care for them and feed them without a need of a pestering mother. It’s been a few years since then, but my family has always had dogs in their homes, so when I visit I just help wherever appreciated. Often, walks for the three dogs my mom would have, would be the best way to help. That would be 9 walks a day, at minimum, because they would have to be walked separately. Although, I maintain a busy schedule working in luxury hospitality, I am consistently helping coworkers walk their dogs or even dog sit for friends for a day, a weekend, or a week at a time. Here, I am looking to do what I enjoy most, help the community. I look forward to connecting!

Brendel has been watching my dog Buddy for quite some time and I couldnt recommend him enough. Brendel is reliable, communicative and clearly has a genuine love for animals. Buddy is always so excited to see Brendel and always comes home tired from his walks. Brendel always sends pictures/ updates when with Buddy and is very flexible with my schedule, which I greatly appreciate. I have peace of mind when Buddy is with Brendel. I can't recommend him enough!
Brendel is incredibly responsible, reliable, and genuinely loves dogs and the doggies always love him right back. He has a calm, patient, and gentle energy with animals that makes dogs instantly feel comfortable around him. I always say he's the “dog whisperer”, he takes the time to make sure each dog feels safe, cared for, and happy. Whether it’s for walks, playtime, or just companionship, you can trust that your dog will be in great hands with him. Any pet owner would be lucky to have someone as dependable and caring as Brendel looking after their dog.
Brendel is a kind and compassionate person of whom dogs and cats seem to gravitate to. He has taken care of my dog Bishop, a 120lb Rottweiler and a black and white cat, Ese. Bishops trust was easily obtained by Brendel by playing ball and smell filled walks. Bishop is the type of dog that will smell one spot for at least a minute, and stop back again to smell the same spot for another two minutes. He has an understanding that for dogs a walk isn’t just them doing their business, it’s their time to explore the community. Ese, on the other hand is a distant and independent cat that treats us all as if we are his servants. He will on occasion allow Brendel to pet him after he is fed. Brendel is an extremely trustworthy person to care for dogs on a regular basis, he is attentive, responsible and reliable.

Schedule
I work full time in hospitality. I am off in the mornings. Typically, I have off on Tuesdays and Wednesdays. However, those days do change.

Safety, trust & environment
I have a single bedroom apartment on the second floor of a 2 floor building. I have bowls for food and water. If your dog is allowed treats, I usually like to give them liver treats. If the dog stays with me, I’ll walk the dog at least 3 times a day, but because I like to walk so much, it’s often the dog will get walked 5-6 times a day for roughly 20-30+ minutes each.
A typical day
I love solo time with animals. However, if the dog park is something you’re ok with, I can take them there to meet new dog friends. Walking and smelling through the neighborhood are basics, but go a long way, not just for the dog, but for me as well. I just enjoy being outdoors. If there is a place your dog enjoys being, I would take your dog for a ride! If your dog likes to hike I can take your dog for a light hike!
