I'm trying to make pet care my primary income while I go back to school. I have classes starting at WCC in the fall semester, so will be working around them when they start.

I will care for pets in their owners home, following as close to possible the pets usual daily routine and following whatever safety measures the owners have for their own home. For walks I will take the dog to a local park or follow the owners usual route, owners choice.

I just need to know if there are any behavioral quirks that might come up and their usual response to new people. I'm pretty good at adjusting my own behaviors to put animals at ease but it is easier to do when I have some idea of how the pets feel.
A typical day
I will take dogs outside and provide mental and physical stimulation with play. There are a couple of trails near me that I enjoy taking pets on, a gentle bike path for older dogs who may not have the energy for rougher terrain and a rougher mountain trail up turkey mountain for the more energetic pets. After the daily walk I would give lots of attention and pets around the house.

I've loved taking care of animals since I was young. I have 15 years personal experience taking care of a pet, in addition to six and a half years professional experience in pet care, four years at boarding and day care facilities and two and a half at Fine Animal Hospital in Bedford, NY as a kennel assistant. I'm fully insured and love taking care of animals.

Brendan was wonderful with Popeye, who has severe anxiety and barked nonstop when he first met him. Brendan was patient and before long, had Popeye napping with him and playing with his tennis ball. Brendan was super responsive, attentive to my concerns, and took excellent care of my dog and my home. I would definitely book with him again.
