I have been fortunate enough to have a furry four legged friend in my house since I was a child. I love dogs and treat them like the family members they are. I will provide the highest quality care for your dog, making sure they feel cared for and loved even when you can't be with them. I have tons of experience watching other people's dogs, and have never had any issues. I am big and strong enough to comfortably handle large dogs, but i also have a soft spot for little guys like my current dog, Ted. Whatever your pooch needs, i can provide it will my flexible schedule. I am willing to go the extra mile to ensure that your dog is always properly cared for. I am of course local and have reliable transportation, so whenever you need assistance I can help, day or night. I hope to meet you and your companion soon.

Safety, trust & environment
When caring for dogs in their owner’s home, I focus on keeping them comfortable, happy, and on their normal routine. I understand that being in a familiar environment can help dogs feel more relaxed while their owners are away. I follow each owner’s instructions carefully, including feeding schedules, walks, playtime, medications if needed, and any specific routines or preferences. I provide plenty of attention, exercise, affection, and companionship while also respecting a dog’s individual personality and boundaries. I also make sure the home is kept clean and secure, fresh water is always available, and I regularly check on the dog throughout my stay. Most importantly, I treat every dog as if they were my own and want both the pet and owner to feel safe and comfortable while they’re apart.

Brendan was great. He was responsive and provided a picture of Athena greeting him when he arrived. Also told me what he did and when he left. She was not whining when I came home so that is a success for me. I will use Brendan again for sure.
Brendan has a natural affinity for animals. He has looked after my dogs, for extended periods, for many years. There is no one I have ever found who is more trustworthy and who actually notices if something is "off" with my dog and let's me know.

Schedule
I am currently working part time so my schedule is very flexible. I will always try to prioritize your pet. I will provide prompt responses to any inquires.

- I always meet dogs before I guarantee I will take care of them. However, I have never had an issue before, even with dogs that others found aggressive. In a typical meeting I meet and interact with the dog to try to understand its personality. This way i can tailor my visits to what your dog wants to do. I am comfortable with all breeds, including very large dogs and working dogs.
