A typical day
On a typical walk, I let the dog set the pace while I stay attentive to their energy — whether that means a brisk exercise walk, a leisurely sniff-filled stroll. On a drop in visit, I always include some playtime and/or cuddles depending on the dog. Before I leave, I make sure their water bowl is full and any toys they'd want are within reach.

I've cared for dogs for 18 years as an owner, so I know the day-to-day realities of feeding schedules, exercise needs, and reading a dog's mood. I also served as a foster caregiver, acting as the transition home between rescue organizations and a dog's new family — which means I'm comfortable with dogs who are anxious, adjusting to a new environment, or still learning house manners. I treat every dog in my care like they're my own, with patience and attention to their individual needs. And I have a sister with over 2 years of consistent, 5-star reviews in South Jersey - we're a dog lover household!

Brendan is wonderful!! He was on time, took good care of my dogs, spent time with them and trustworthy. I had no worries knowing that Brendan was talking care of them.
Brendan is an animal lover and animals gravitate to him naturally. He has cared for both our families cats and dog. Our dog Maisy loves him, as she gets extremely happy around him. We hired him for overnight stays and have been very pleased with his care. It’s nice to know that we can travel out of state and know our animals are in good care. I’m not sure how much Maisy misses us, as she loves the extra playtime and snuggles Brendan gives her. We explained her routine and he followed our instructions enthusiastically.
Brendan is a longtime family friend who dog sits for us whenever needed. He once watched Summer for 2 wks while we went abroad. He is very reliable and attentive. Summer adores him!
