I’ve had animals my entire life, and caring for them has always come naturally to me. I’ve primarily cared for small and medium-sized dogs, but I’ve also had experience with larger dogs, including my roommate's two who were very cautious and selective about who they trusted. Somehow, they quickly decided I was one of their people! My family and friends also regularly trust me with their furry family members and often come to me for advice. I currently have a cat of my own who requires medication and has some behavioral quirks, so I’m comfortable with the extra patience, consistency, and attention that pets with special needs may require. I’ve always been the person animals seem to gravitate toward wherever I go. My mom has jokingly called me the “cat whisperer” for years, especially! I truly love getting to know each pet’s personality and making sure they feel safe, comfortable, loved, and well cared for while their humans are away.
