About this sitter: I come from a family that owns and loves animals. Not only have we own/owned dogs ,cats and horses, I have several years of volunteer service for our local humane societies ,including fostering small dogs. I am attentive to the needs of your pet, and they will be treated just like family.

Why I love dog sitting Dogs are such gentle and loving animals. I love being with them and watching their personalities. They love us so much! Just like us sometimes they need to get away and when they stay with me, they are happy and usually sleep heavy for about two days when they get home. I have owned anything from a small breed to a large breed. I have always trained my pets to behave in the house. Dogs should have positive playtime to learn social skills, and experience a positive mental experience! I have kept over 92 different dogs. It had been so much fun!

PLEASE BE SURE YOUR PET HAS PROPER NAME TAG, PHONE NUMBER INFO, MICROCHIP, ETC IN CASE THE PET WERE TO GET SEPARATED. Basic info..Size of dog (I limit size to 25lbs.) age, breed, house trained, is the dog crated when unattended and at night, temperament, feeding habits, any special requirements, on any medication. I will require the dog to be current on all shots, including Bordetella. Please supply me with a copy and contact vet info. and emergency contact information.
A typical day
We go on walks, play ball, run freely in the fenced in field. Be with me at couch time. Your dog's sleeping arrangement: Kennel crate if necessary, or sleep freely in their bed. Time I'll spend with your dog: Just as much time as I spend with my own dog...play time, walk, sit with me if I watch a movie.

Thank you for checking me out just some quick details.I keep one dog at a time. If 2 come from the same home, I will consider that. I do not accept dogs under 3 years of age or any dog that weighs over 28 pounds You must provide a copy of their annual vet visit with proof of vaccines. Being raised on a farm, I have been around animals all my life! Volunteering at local SPCA shelters, fostering dogs in my home for adoption. So, when I heard about Rover.com, I realized what a wonderful way this is for dogs to be cared for while pet owners are traveling. I have now been providing families with peace of mind as they vacation or travel for many years. I provide a loving and safe home environment for your family pet to visit, play and socialize. It is a doggie camp vacation! I do require all dogs be current on vaccinations, flea, tick and heart worm protection. I keep my Rover calendar up to date and am usually available 7 days a week. I also provide availability for extended stays. I am the alpha in my home and they always are sweet and loving towards me. Your dog will be out several times during each day and evening playing with my sweet Bella. (Shorkie) It is a wonderful environment for your dog to vacation in. I am an active person and enjoy taking walks, so for me it is a pleasure. I have a quiet farm with fenced in areas to be free to play. Your pet will be part of my family and enjoy their time while here. I do administer oral medications and shots, and adhere to the feeding instructions of the pet owner. Any pet issues ( food/behavior)I am happy to assist where I can. I prefer your pet to be crated when I run errands for safety reasons.

I left my elderly dog with Brenda and am very pleased! This was my first time ever leaving her with someone I didn’t previously know, so I was nervous about it! Brenda, however, was awesome and took great care of her. She sent a lot of pictures and updates and stayed in communication with me consistently. I would definitely recommend her and use her again!
