Pet care experience

Busy B Pet Care 🐝

Hi there, my name is Brenda, also know as B! 🌻 I have five years of experience in the veterinary field, including one year as a veterinary technician in an emergency veterinary hospital. Throughout my career, I’ve had the privilege of working hands-on with a wide range of animals — from canines and felines to avians and reptiles. Each one teaching me something new about patience, compassion, and trust.❤️‍🩹 My love for animals began when I was a little girl and has only grown stronger over the years. I’ve volunteered at sanctuaries and rehabilitation centers, gaining valuable experience to the importance of compassionate and skilled care. These experiences help shape my commitment to animal welfare and strengthened my desire to grow within the veterinary field. Looking ahead, my goal is to open my own boarding facility, where pets can feel safe, loved, and well cared for while offering peace of mind to their owners. I am continuously expanding my knowledge and skills to make this vision a reality. Every step I take in my career brings me closer to that dream.

Brenda is literally a godsend. She watched our two cats while my now wife and I got married and had our honeymoon in Europe. We’re extremely anxious but have used Brenda before which made it a no brainer, as we had piece of mind the whole time and consistent updates + pictures and videos If you want to know your babies, and home, are cared for while you’re away Brenda is the absolute best

I also really appreciated the consistent communication both prior and during the stay. Drop-In Visits • Nov 29, 2025

Brenda was absolutely fantastic with our cats!! She was super attentive, gave constant updates + pictures, and we can tell our fur babies had a great time! Luna our oldest cat has diabetes requiring 2 injections a day and can be quite anxious when we’re away.. (fun combo for a pet sitter!). But we just got back from a 3 night trip and she is happy and a ball of energy, I’m not quite sure she noticed we were even gone 😆

Schedule

When I’m not caring for pets through my business, I work three nights a week at an emergency veterinary hospital- a role that keeps my skills sharp and my heart full. The rest of my week is dedicated to what I love most: spending time with your pets! Whether it’s boarding in the comfort of my home, house sitting, or stopping by for drop-in visits, I’m here to make sure your furry (or feathered, or scaly!) family members are happy, comfortable, and cared for.

Safety, trust & environment

In my home, pets are treated like family - with cozy spaces to rest, plenty of playtime, and constant supervision. I maintain a clean, pet-friendly environment and follow each owner’s specific routines, feeding schedules, and care instructions to ensure consistency and comfort. When I’m in a client’s home, I respect their space as if it were my own. I take extra care to follow all safety measures, keep doors and gates secure, and maintain open communication so owners always feel confident that their pets (and their homes) are in good hands. My background in veterinary medicine allows me to recognize signs of stress or discomfort early and respond appropriately, providing not just care — but peace of mind!

Pets

A typical day

Every pet’s day with me is designed around their own routine. I do my best to follow each pet’s usual schedule, from feeding times and walks to playtime and rest — to keeping things familiar and comfortable. Whether your pet enjoys morning cuddles, afternoon walks, or quiet time in the evening, I make sure their day feels just like home. Consistency helps them feel safe, relaxed, and happy while you’re away, and I’m always attentive to their individual needs and preferences.

Every pet is unique, and I want to make sure I provide the best care possible for each one. If your pet has any special needs, medical conditions, or requires medication, please let me know in advance so I can ensure their routine is followed safely and accurately. I also love learning about each pet’s personality — any quirks, habits, or comfort preferences that help them feel happy and secure. The more I know, the better I can tailor my care to make your pet feel right at home. 🐾
