Breanna was kind, communicative throughout the booking, and I appreciate that she replaced my dog’s harness and took responsibility for not fully reading my dog’s profile. However, I was disappointed that several care instructions we discussed and agreed upon weren’t followed. My profile clearly states that La Vie should be crated whenever she’s left alone, but Breanna later acknowledged she hadn’t read that information and did not have a crate available. I also specifically asked at drop-off that La Vie’s harness not be left on while indoors, but she returned with the harness chewed through in multiple places. I had also packed enrichment chews and bones to help keep her occupied indoors, but none of them appeared to have been used. During the stay, I was asked to either pick my dog up early or pay more after property was damaged, which was stressful while I was out of town. The scheduled pickup time also changed multiple times, requiring us to rearrange our plans. La Vie came home safe, and I appreciate that Breanna replaced the damaged harness, but my biggest concern was that the care instructions we discussed before booking were agreed to yet ultimately not followed. I hope future owners ensure their dog’s care instructions are fully reviewed and understood before booking.
