I’m an experienced pet owner and have had pets my entire life! Growing up, I helped take care of our family pets (Italian greyhounds), one that had seizures, and one that had anxiety. Now that my childhood pets are a bit older, I’ve also gotten used to caring for our eldest dogs that have arthritis. This experience has taught me how to care for dogs with special needs and pets that require a little more attention than most, as well as administer medication. Through Rover, I have cared for many different kinds of pups. Many of my clients had puppies or senior dogs. I also helped care for an overweight hound, who got back into shape thanks to our regular walks through the woods. I have had many cats throughout my life in addition to caring for other people’s cats. This has given me exposure to all different kinds of temperaments, ages, breeds, and personalities. I have also administered medications and applied ointments/creams/balms to cats, as well. I currently have a kitty of my own that I care for, but I also help out in caring for my roommate’s kitten and dog from time to time. I think one of the most important qualities I possess is my caring nature. I have always been an animal lover & fierce animal rights activist.
