Pet care experience

Your pet’s favorite aunties!

Hi there — we’re Adrienne & Bre, and we’re so glad you found our Rover profile! While the platform only lets us list one name, we’re a young married couple based in Burlington, VT, and we’d love to be your pet’s new best friend. We’ve been Rover sitters for over four years, and until we’re ready to adopt a furry friend of our own, we love opening our hearts and home to animals of all kinds — all breeds, sizes, and temperaments welcome. We’re reliable, accommodating, and total animal lovers. You know those people who go to a party and spend the whole time on the floor with the host’s dog or cat? That’s us. Over the years, we’ve built long-lasting relationships with families and pets throughout the Rover community, and we take great pride in providing the kind of care we’d want for our own future pet — attentive, thoughtful, and full of love. We know how important it is to trust the people caring for your pet, and we don’t take that responsibility lightly. Feel free to check out our reviews and photo gallery to get a better sense of who we are and the pets we’ve loved caring for. If you’re interested in working with us, send us a message — we’d love to introduce ourselves and answer any questions you may have. We’re looking forward to (hopefully) meeting you and your furry family member soon. :)

Bre and Adrienne were amazing! We have an older dog and a high-energy puppy, and they handled dealing with both of them perfectly. We came home to two happy pups and felt completely comfortable and informed the entire time we were away. Highly recommend and hope to book with them again!

Doggy Day Care • Aug 08, 2025

Bre and Adrienne are the best! They love dogs and seemed really happy to have my energetic pup. They have a great fenced yard and my dog came home happy and tired. I felt like she was in good hands. I won’t hesitate to use them again.

Drop-In Visits • Jul 14, 2025

Bee and Adrianne took fantastic care of my fur baby while I was away for an extended family visit. They were very responsive and quick to reply to any questions or concerns. My cat was comfortable with them, which says a lot because he is tough to warm Up to people. I will definitely be booking with them again.

Easy to communicate with, responds very promptly! I’m a nervous dog mom and felt very comfortable leaving our baby boy in Bre’s care.

Calendar and availability

Schedule

As a duo, we’re often able to divide and conquer! On many weekends, one of us is home with a boarding or daycare pup while the other is out doing a house-sitting or drop-in visit. Our schedule is flexible, and we try to keep our Rover calendar as up to date as possible. If you’re checking for availability, that’s the best place to start. That said, if we’re marked as unavailable or you’re interested in a recurring or long-term arrangement, feel free to reach out — we’d love to hear from you!

Safety, trust & environment

As Rover sitters, our job isn’t just to shower your furry friend with love and cuddles — it’s also to keep them safe and ensure we’re honoring their unique routines and boundaries. Every pet is different, and we take the time to get to know what makes yours feel comfortable, secure, and happy. We’ve cared for animals of all ages, temperaments, and energy levels — from shy seniors to high-energy pups, and everything in between. Whether your pet has separation anxiety, medical needs, leash reactivity, or just prefers things a certain way, we’re experienced and equipped to provide thoughtful, compassionate care — no judgment, just love. Bre also brings formal training and hands-on experience from volunteering at local animal shelters, and has fostered several rescue dogs — all of whom are now thriving in their forever homes.

A typical day

We live in a single-family home with a large fenced-in yard and are local to plenty of great parks — perfect for walks and sniff-filled adventures! We never board pets from multiple families at once, so your furry friend will have our full attention and care throughout their stay. That said, every pet is different, and we do our best to tailor each day to match their unique needs and routines. We follow a general rhythm that includes multiple bathroom breaks (either in the yard or out on walks), but beyond that, we rely on you to help us shape their ideal stay. Whether your dog prefers a laid-back day of couch naps, structured mealtimes, or outdoor adventures like hikes and lake swims, we’re happy to adapt. Our goal is to stick as closely as possible to your pet’s typical routine so they feel safe, happy, and right at home. We’re fully stocked with the essentials — bowls, toys, treats, poop bags, and more — and pets are always welcome on our furniture (unless told otherwise). If your dog is boarding with us, we encourage you to bring along any items that will make them feel more comfortable. And if your pet requires a crate, just be sure to bring that with you as we do not have one. We’re also happy to send photo or video updates during your pet’s stay — just let us know your preference!

For us, it’s their stay, their way. Before confirming a booking, we always ask that you share anything that will help us understand who your pet is and how we can best support them — whether that’s details about their daily routine, medications, temperament, or special preferences. We may ask things like whether they can be left alone (and for how long), if they take any meds, or if there’s anything specific you think we should know to help them feel safe and comfortable. Whatever instructions you leave will be followed with care and attention — our priority is making sure your pet feels happy, relaxed, and right at home while they’re with us. We’re also happy to coordinate flexible pickup and drop-off times whenever possible — just let us know what works best for your schedule.
Each sitter joining Rover needs to pass a background check. And by booking on Rover, you can get photo & message updates, 24/7 support, and reimbursement for eligible vet care.
