Having a Shih Tzu for 15 years taught me just how much joy comes from finding what each dog loves most. Puppies usually want to play and explore everything, so I like to keep things active with games of fetch, tug of war, or walks where they can sniff around and discover new things. For adult dogs in their routine, I try to match their energy, whether that means a good long walk or some backyard playtime. And having helped care for senior dogs, I know how much they appreciate slower walks, gentle affection, and quiet time cuddled up together. Whatever stage of life a dog is in, my goal is to give them the kind of attention and companionship that makes them feel truly at home, just like my own dog always did with me.

Safety, trust & environment
I care for pets both in my own home and at clients' homes, depending on the service. My home has a fully fenced yard, so dogs have safe space to play and explore off-leash. Whether I'm hosting or visiting, I follow the pet parent's routine closely — same food schedule, same walk times, same house rules — so the pet feels comfortable and nothing feels out of the ordinary while you're away.

Schedule
I work from home, so pet care fits naturally into my day rather than being squeezed in around a commute. I'm available for walks, feeding, playtime, and company throughout the day, not just mornings and evenings.
