I began professionally caring for animals 10 years ago when I got a job at PetSmart as a Pet Care associate! From there, I became a kennel technician at one of the top rated veterinary clinics in Cincinnati, Animal Care Center, and after a year of working there as a kennel technician they trained me to be a veterinary technician. I then had my first son and stayed home with him and had a farm with pigs, chickens, and all kinds of wonderful animals! When I decided to rejoin the work force, of course I went back to what I love most, caring for animals. I worked at two different kennels full time and helped manage one of them. I am able to give medications to pets and I’m comfortable giving insulin shots. If you’re interested in drop-ins for medication only while you’re at work or out, I can do that! I’m available any time, just discuss with me what would work best for you. During overnight stays, I will fill out a report to return to you so you will have complete details of how your pet was while you’re away! I’m also willing to FaceTime and send pictures so you know that your pet is safe and sound. Housemates would be my loving and gentle 5 year old son and my fiancé. I have a small chihuahua myself who is very friendly with all other pets. Since I do have children, any pets staying at my home must be child friendly.
